    It is beautiful as fuck in LA right now. 76 degrees with a 7mph wind. I have been nursing my hangover by laying out in my backyard and watching birds all day. I also barbecued some pork and made a sandwich. Today is awesome!

    I finally saw my first bear of the year on tuesday night!

    He was just walking through a parking lot. Ran up a little hill when my headlights shined on him. I turned around and parked down even with him for a while, he made some noises then wandered up closer to the condos.

    Then I saw another bear later that same night (thought it was less than a mile away, could've been the same one) who'd knocked over a trash can all over another parking lot. When I pulled in, he was all "oh shit!" and hauled ass across the parking lot over to the side of the building behind some trees.

    Silly bear, trash is for sanitation engineers!

    I live in orlando

    so far today it has rained 3 different times, but inbetween the showers the sun comes out for around an hour or two and heats the water on the ground into even more humidity

    basically its just really hot and wet outside.

    When I was a kid, I killed a possum with 3 full magazines on an air rifle.
    Then I hit it with a shovel to make sure it wasn't playin' possum. (har har!~)

    then I tossed it over the fence into the neighbor's yard.

    my most memorable experience with a possum was one that had rabies or some shit and was walking in circles hissing at anything that moved in the middle of our street

    It's about 30 degree outside, in the sun it feels much hotter, thank god the sun is starting to go down. Once this humidity goes away i might be able to leave this place and make for the summit under the cover of darkness.
