Which is ironic considering the system specs for it's sequel appear to exceed most top of the line computer hardware in graphics and memory. It's a beautiful looking game, but I don't know how well it's going to sell if no one can even run it on their PCs.
Granted it's still in alpha so, we'll see.

It's pretty much movie grade cinematics, but on your computer, and you play them in an MMO setting.
City state hub latency will be interesting.
Yeah, I'm leaning towards the PS3 version based on what I've heard. Especially because I don't want to worry about having some sort of hypothetical computer from the future to run it on my PC.
Can I just say that my favorite thing about this screenshot is that aside from the chatbox and minimap, there's some non-obtrusive stat bars and a partially transparent icon bar. If that's all you need on the screen to play, that's delightfully refreshing compared to MMOs that need >50% of the screen for tons of cluttered windows (with the game's own UI-theme frames that suck up space as well).

And from the Ugly UI you can see that "Secerno" is the MT, wearing at least Wrath shoulders. You didn't really tank Naxx wearing Conq gear and a two hander :P .
Yeah, for a 360 port FFXIV runs hilariously slow. Lazy port is lazy. But hey, alpha, maybe in a few versions I'll be able to face +2 characters and not go into single digits.
Everytime I look at this awesome screeen shot as well as the others I took on the PTS, a year ago, it makes me want to punch the people at Mythic in the throat for what seems to be the half-assing WAR. The entire world that is Warhammer at their finger tips and it's just... wel...l nowhere near the soruce material. LotD is cool. PvP is still kickass. But the rest... I am dissapoint. H-scroll rape ahead.
I still can't get screen shots to look like this in the regular servers. It's been reduced in size by photobucket.

Makes me miss my Magus. I wonder if they ever made it a worthwhile class again. After they took away rift pulling no one wanted me anymore.

Raiding as my priest I had about a 75x75px clear viewing area. Fury Warrior? Nearly clean ui.
Except not. I mean, it looks nice, but lets not get carried away here.

My friend has a special monitor + glasses that does that for any 3D game (with varying quality). Looks really great, actually.
