It pains me to say that that does look pretty damn strange. Not that Sir Fabulous surviving to today without having posted for four days straight is not also very strange.

What makes Sir Fabulous a better vote target than Capfalcon? I just find it strange that Ringo names three names and then two of those names vote for an inactive.

Indeed it would appear, for now at least. Sorry !Capfalcon, I like the argument against you better than a vague hint against Sir Fabulous.

    Vote... close?

And the reason to vote Cap was because he was in A9 the same night Law was. Coulda sworn I mentioned this

Probably. But that's the nature of faction games regardless. I think that we'll be seeing an EG or Wintermute victory tonight.

Which, again, is something you've failed to sell as a compelling argument. It may be contrary to your own personal win condition - one assumes that Infidel AI and Posthuman Order are directly opposed - but if those are primary win conditions, and not secondary, there is no driving impetus to oust one of them over any other known corporate enemy.

They all need to fry regardless, of course.

You oust the one that has conversions, duh :)

    Speaking of which!

    Are there Conversions?

When choosing a target to attack do they have to be in the same server as you?

    There are no conversions.

Attacks happen in the real world, so no, a target does not need to be in the same aethernet server as you.

    *cough*

Alright, I'm off to dinner. If the game ends while I'm gone, I'll unlock the ZA/Resistance boards as soon as I get back.

    The Future

The fires raged throughout the city as the Infidel AI ran amok.

The Corporations fell before it, helpless against its mastery of the technology that was their foundation.

The solitary hope of humanity was a force that itself seeked to eliminate humanity: the Posthuman Order, a secretive group of individuals which wished to usher in a new stage of human existence.

The Infidel AI fell, its attempts at control thwarted.

And in time, thanks to the dominance of the Posthuman Order, humanity itself became a distant memory.

For better? For worse? It is impossible to judge.

With the Corporations destroyed, peace reigned.

    But for how long?

    Day Six Dead:
Capfalcon, member of [strike]Wintermute The Posthuman Order[/strike] the Infidel AI - Put down by the Posthuman Order
jdarksun, member of Postdyne - Victim of a Colt and GEP Gun
Simonwolf, member of EG - Victim of a Colt
Adventfalls, member of Macroware - Victim of a Colt and a Vlad

A victory for the Posthuman Order is now inevitable.

THE MEMBERS OF THE POSTHUMAN ORDER WIN!

He did get hit (Advent did get his shot off). Again, not enough to kill him; by today, the mafia had managed to make themselves incredibly hard to kill.

    Vigint proboards.

See how the mafia fucked our asses by claiming builds for EVERY PERSON. And how we TOLD THEM ALL ABOUT IT?

Hard to see when the boards are still locked.

Kay was a member of the Posthuman Order for the entire game. The only conversions happened when players reached A9 in the Aethernet.

    Speaking of which;
    A1 and A4: 1000 credits.
A2: Video replays showing showing a murder that night.
A3: Video replays showing a murder that night.
    A5 and A8: 1500 credits.
A6 and A7: Allows you to seer another player.
A9: Unlocked the Infidel AI, possessing the player.

    Corp 0: Nothing
    Corp 1: 300 credits
Corp 2: Name of a member of that corp
    Corp 3: 500 credits
Corp 4: Discount on that corp's speciality
    Corp 5: 1000 credits
Corp 6: Grants membership perk of that corp
Corp 7: 3000 credits and full membership list of that corp

Oh my god. I was so proud of myself because we had Alegis and Lucedes pegged on day one. We even had solid (and correct) guesses on who worked for each corp. But I dismissed notions of a mafia, since to be evenly distributed the mafia would have to have more members than any other faction, as well as ridiculous advantages. And I didn't follow through on my suppositions enough. I mean I wanted to keep Alegis alive as long as he thought he was passing (he even apparently revived Phyphor) and Lucedes as long as he was doing nothing of importance. And I never really suspected Ringo, at least not until it was too late while Dunadan and Shushnik died to the vote, protecting mafia members.

I should have shut down intracorp communication altogether Day one, like I hear Rawkking did, but I felt it would make it too obvious to the infiltrators that I was the contact. And that is ultimately why I tried to make sure Rawkking was dead. But I was also playing a game that had no mafia in it, so it's fair to say I made a lot of mistakes.

Great game Burnage. Thanks for running it.
