Heh, just realized I didn't lose a single game this last boardgame night.
Unless we are talking about Pandemic, which we lost twice at, but everyone lose. The expansion is HARD.
Pandemic is so much fun.
I really do enjoy it as a change of pace. Nice to get everyone working together especially after some really competitive stuff like chaos in the old world. Not a good game to play with meek players who let themselves get bossed around though.
I'm really excited for the new roles and event cards in the expansions, and look forward to finally beating some variants and then later combining them or upping the difficulty.
The idea of legendary (7 epidemics) still terrifies me.
I find I just love cooperative games in general. As long as you don't have someone at the table who thinks they are the boss of everyone. If everyone is equally meek, or at least capable of editing themselves, meek isn't a problem either.

I love the petri dishes.
The petri dishes really shouldn't make a difference but somehow they make the game twice as awesome.
What are other good co-operative boardgames out of curiosity?
Well let me know when you pick it up and we can stab mans together.
There's multi?
It probably won't be for a bit at least, as I swapped consoles with a friend so I want to get through all the PS3 exclusives before he wants to swap back.

Yeah, it's actually a pretty substantial part of the game. You can do the entire story mode co-op, and there are heaps of extra missions that are apparently way hard and built for co-op.
The boss fights are a real bitch too, so if you get stuck on one you can get someone in to help you with it apparently. I'm a decent way through the game, and haven't had too much trouble yet, but I've been capturing the shit out of mans to make my army Army Strong.
Red white and blue are probably the most common flag colours in the world
EDIT: Australia, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Cuba, Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, France, Haiti, Iceland, North Korea, South Korea, Laos, Liberia, Luxembourg, Marshall Islands, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Panama, Paraguay, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States

I'm counting games that include a traitor mechanic:
Shadows over Camelot. (Traitors optional, merlin expansion makes it hard.)
Battlestar Galactica. (Traitors mandatory.)
Lord of the Rings. (Haaaaard. I don't remember the exact name, I know that there are many. Expansions are good.)
Betrayal at House on the Hill. (Varies from game to game. Can be fun or not. Cooperative or not. Never know.)
Arkham Horror. (Lots of fun. I dunno if it tends to be more competitive elsewhere, but everyone cooperates in my group. I wish the Other Worlds dimension hopping aspect was more robust, 'cause that is the part I like.)
Last Night on Earth. (Various ways to play. Two teams, humans vs. zombies is the way we do it.)
A Touch of Evil. (Has rules for competitive, but we have never used them. This is one of my favorites actually... dunno why.)
Ghost Stories. (Hard. I don't like it much. REALLY prone to one person playing solitaire while everyone else twiddles their thumbs.)
Red white and blue are probably the most common flag colours in the world
Depends on where you are in the world. It is common in Eastern Europe and descendant countries like the US. It is also common in US spinoffs as well. But it is very dependent on the culture of the country. Green is on pretty much every Muslim countries flag, Africa has lots of green, black and gold. Occasionally red as well. Asia has more red.
I had a list of culture colors for flags at one point.

I can't imagine anyone ever betraying you in Arkham Horror, it's a strictly cooperative game.

Based on my work, which is admittedly a small sample size, parents cave pathetically easily to children's whining.
Not that I'm saying that lawsuit against McDonalds has any legs to stand on. Just an observation related to the topic at hand.
FUCK YEAH!!!
My group already runs a Call of Cthulhu night so I'm sure people would be interested in Arkham. I am kind of put off by the billion expansions though.
