Raneados: I don't understand your concept! PUDDING PARTY. You need to work on your silhouette and shape sense. Trying doing black and white etchings.
Koshian: WONDERFUL. I see you are also addicted to the pencil tool in photoshop.
Jpeg: Solid linework! Work on your machines. The linework on your chainsaw is lacking pinache. You need to indicate how solid it is with thick lines and strong shapes.
Tam: You are really coming into your own dude. Like you're drawing really fast!
Sleepless: It's getting there. Your pose is too stiff. Try and balance him. Contrapasto. Think about where his weight is.
Gurtperk: Line quality is good. Try thinking about solid geometric forms within the character.
Rane: Study anatomy. You've got good ideas and they could do with better expression. One other thing you can do is less scribbling and just put down one solid line- don't be afraid to undo until you get it right. Also, SCALE DOWN YOUR DAMN IMAGES.
Kosh: Nice style. Watch the detailing though- you don't need all those separate shines on the hair.
Prox: Thanks
Gurt: That is a cool dog. Also, would you want to 3D this:
naked- hah, it's one panel. That line is suppose to be part of the wall, like a massive tile or something. Sorry about the confusion, I blame my inability to draw tiles properly.
also!, you where close. It's suppose to be some basement laboratory, but it doesn't look mad sciencey enough. Need's more random mist.

That's actually why I saved it to last, I decided to try and draw it at another angle because it looks super weird to have it all shopping catalogue-posed in her hands like that
jpeg on
so I just type in this box and it goes on the screen?
I'm kind of having trouble figuring out how to ground the figures in the space since you...you know, can't see either of their feet. This is the first time I've tried a composition like this, so if anyone has any pointers that would be rad.

Desperaterobots, I am digging your iPad drawings. Which app are you using?
These are literally doodles. My tablet arrived today. I had one years ago but never got the hang of it but this one is way easier to use!
I'm gonna take advantage of my enthusiasm and finally crack open the Nicolaides book I have. Become better familiar with anatomy and keep practicing with the tablet.
Gurt: That is a cool dog. Also, would you want to 3D this:
Dude, that would be awesome! I must've missed that doodle. Right now I got a job doing modeling for a Canadian company, but I can do that after I finish squidbunnie's Dr. Vane on my own time.
In the mean time, think you can do some different views of that? Like a front or three-quarter? You should color it too. Are those just feet too or can they be shoes?

Are those tiles on the wall? If they're on the ground, then i'm confused as to where the character is.

I LOVE these. Did you ever do more of those black/white/purple acrylics. I thought you said you were doing more. Did i miss them? was i wrong? Having a 3 week old i barely have time to get to the forums
I think I've put everything I've made up on the doodle threads. Besides, my thread would just be a total sausagefest full of dudes with nearly identical features.
Plus, the whole point of a thread is to receive constructive criticism...and I hate that.

Man fff, I wish I knew how to help you/could redline at work because this is seriously so fantastic and I want to see it look utterly fabulous
robots I dig that last doodle. The one eye sore for me is that youve designed all the other lines so nicely yet the nose line that splits the forehead doesnt flow with the rest of the design very well. If it matched the cruve of the hairline on the left maybe?
right now the angles don't really make sense. the clouds imply that we're looking up at them both (the horizon line is beneath them), but their faces suggest we're looking at them straight on (as if the horizon line was behind their heads).

(and yes, I know the shadows should be in the middle, not on the edges. the glow was an afterthought)
Mango...start your own thread. Because your stuff is awesome and we need more of it!
