First off, if this is your only suit, you are going to want a solid suit in a dark color - charcoal and navy both work well. I don't recommend black. Buy a single-breasted suit.
In escalating price/ quality:
a) go to a salvation army. find somethign that fits and doesn't look too bad. i recommend looking for wool or wool-poly blend. Pay attention that the lapels aren't too wide and the trousers aren''t too flared. This will run you around $20.
b) go to a target. they sell wool and wool/poly suits for a little over a hundred bucks.
c) go to like a Men's Wearhouse. I kind of hate them and don't think much of the quality of their goods, but their salespeople can be pretty helpful if you don't know what you're doing. The suits will run probably $200 to $300.
d) go somewhere upscale like Brooks Brothers. The suits are expensive and the salespeople are often kind of dicks, but their products are of wonderful quality. Expect to drop around $800 per suit unless you find a sale (this can get down to the $300 range).

I was checking to see if a friend was online and got distracted!
Just let me make a call and I'll be right back.
you're not a professor anymore
Damn you, Nerd. I'm going to reclaim my glory of old by becoming a real life professor!
So useful for that. Improvised blind fold, improved knots, and a leash in a pinch.
A great game.

It's written by a six year old. It can't help but be over the top.

Jail.
At some point when you move to civilization then you will be expected to do these things some times.
If he's getting man love in jail, probably the same as a vacation for him.
