p0nd: PC/Mac "game" experience. Braid of 2010?

With a message that combines both the peacefulness of nature and the love that humans have for animals, p0nd is one of those games that comes around only so often and can put you in a state of zene while you experience it.

It took me a couple of tries to get through it but it was well worth it. Sure, I had to deal with that bit of pretentiousness that you find in many artsy style "games", but I very glad I completed it to the end credits.

Give it a shot.

And please, if you are going to post about the storyline or plot elements, do use spoiler tags, as like with any good piece of literature, knowing what happens will ruin the ride.

    Erm, I'm a bit confused:
    I hold space and walk through the forest a bit, get attacked by a giant squid, die. Now i have no interest in walking through the entire forest again just to button mash. In general, even as a joke on arty games, a total waste of time and/or bandwidth.

    Slightly ruined in the quote displayed at the end, but what I really liked was how it made me think about myself. All the way through I was actually being that pretentious dick thinking that it was about nature and simplicity and whatever and then OH SHIT GIANT SQUID

    Braid was a good game.

    This was a 5 minute distraction. Calling it the Braid of 2010 is silly.

    Anyone got a mirror for the PC download? Silly goose of the creator used a free hosting site that only allows 1000 downloads of the file.

    But if you had played you'd realize that the whole thing
    is a satire of artsy fartsy pretentious games with truly stupid names! If anything I don't think they took the stupid name far enough.
