You could just use your pipes

Pipes and Direct Hit rockets are the bane of a Heavy's existence.

And maybe sniper bullets, I guess.

Basically, being a demoman makes everything easy

Now you can even use the pain train to make capping easy

hat does make sense, i guess

the worst deaths to me are where i spot the sniper and immediately start ducking jump and juking, but it will be quite a few feet before i make it behind cover

its just... what do i do? i can't do anything if he is competent at getting headshots.

TF2 is rife with situations where your death is out of your hands, it's not like that is exclusive to Snipers. If I walk around a corner and a Heavy is right there, it doesn't matter what I do, I'm going to die. The best thing you can hope for is not to get into that situation in the first place.

well, heavy isn't too good an example

any time you spot a heavy your death is out of your hands already

but otherwise i think you have a pretty good fighting chance with anybody else!

You guys make it sound like heavies can't be shot, stabbed, blown up, axetinguished, or avoided.

A good Heavy will rarely be stabbed and never axetinguished. Avoiding the Heavy doesn't seem like a good game plan? They can certainly be shot with bullets and explosives, but if they have a Medic with them you're going to need a lot of mans coordinated to bring him down. And meanwhile he will be killing men in seconds and completely immobilizing them.

A good heavy will rarely be stabbed or axetinguished by a bad spy or pyro.

Avoiding the heavy is a good game plan in the same way not rushing head first into a lvl 3 sentry is a good game plan.

Teamwork requiring teamwork to overcome and medics being a force multiplier should already be understood and not have to be brought up.

The thing about a good heavy is that he is good because he has 2 or 3 medics wiggling around behind him. The more people behind him the harder he is to stab.

how much is axestinguisher crit? 270? I've noticed a lot recently that even when I get the puff+axestinguish to work, I rarely get the kill even with afterburn because they either get to a health pack or some medic comes and saves them like a big fat jerk.

It really annoys me how the crafting inventory screen splits the normal inventory screens in half, making inventory sorting pretty much useless for crafting.

So apparently I get that 'reliable snapshot overflow' error everytime there's a map change. When there are other people trying to get into the server, that's pretty much a guarantee I'll be waiting again.
