I have a hearty love for comedic character actors. This thread could've just as easily been about Thomas Lennon, or Nick Offerman, or Jim Rash, or Martin Starr.
yeah, though off the top of my head i can't think of any british character actors that aren't hugh laurie
Also, I was at a party on Sunday and there was an actor there, but I didn't ask him where I would recognize him from. And now the chance is gone. He's going to be "That Guy" forever.

I could actually see him doing some pretty good dramatic work, too. He gets cast a lot in these really yukyuk bit parts, but I think given a chance he could do some really surprising work like Brian Cranston did
