What is this between my legs?

Hey guys, I'm in a dilemma here. There is this sore between my thighs that i think may have been caused by either a spider bite, or a ingrown hair. I'm having nightmares of it being a spider bite because Brown recluse bites are starting to become more common in my area. It gets bad to where I start gasping for air and my hear start to thump. I'm kinda afraid to go to sleep.

So here is the info on it:

It's not hard and lumpy
Since I've had it i haven't been feeling intense pain, so i know it can't be a brown recluse. (oh god i hope not.)
it's about quarter sized
it is sort of soft
I think its starting to get a little better, but I'm still in pain when i run.
I am a little overweight
I am still a virgin, so I know it's not an STD
It's been here for about 3 days and there seems to be no rotting.
I've been treating it with Campho Phenique and Neosporn
I've been trying to keep my legs dry so I wont contract in infection from any abrasions.
I'm probably going to go see a doctor Monday and get his opinion.

I'm willing to wear slider shorts, gauze, and other junk to get my thighs back to normal. I have also been scrubbing more down there.

Worst comes to worse, I have to go in for surgery.
Or my dick falls off.

It's most likely a cyst, perhaps caused by ingrown hair but not always, just a small sac of pus basically.

The doctor can lance it and clean it for you. Sometimes they will go away on their own.

If it is a cyst you should soak it in warm water. I did that for one I had and it went away.

That's kind of hard to do since it's between my legs. I'm not to keen on the idea of sitting in a tub.

Just take a bath instead of a shower.

Sounds like a boil. Keep it clean, keep it dry, and soak it in warm or hot water once or twice a day.

It'll pop eventually, so be prepared for stinky, yucky mess when it does. Just clean it, sanitize it as best you can, and put an absorbent bandage on it to absorb the rest of the crap coming out of it.

Hold a hot washcloth against it.

take a book and sit in a warm bath for a while, or if you absolutely can't do that, hold a warm wet washcloth against it.

you want to loosen the material inside of it so that your body reabsorbs it (or it pops all gross D:)

don't pinch at it unless gently squeezing it once it has a head makes it ooze out.

I would just sterilize a needle and pop it.

Unless he's really sure what it is, he shouldn't pop it, especially not if he's got an appointment to have it looked at.

That said, it's probably nothing - so relax, but do take the advice given so far in this thread since water and etc isn't going to do any harm.

Cysts can be a pain in the ass, though, literally: (op may not want to read this spoiler)
I had one beneath my tailbone when I was about 16, which had to be surgically removed. Cue a cut from my tailbone to my asshole, scraping the bone to make sure they got it all, and a month of missed school. It didn't hurt much, though. The worst part was my dad figuring that, hey, after it had been two days and I was released, I didn't need to be driven home, right? A bike should be fine.

Now I just have an amusing scar that has gotten a few curious remarks.

I had the same thing Grislo. I didn't really do anything about it for awhile so it was real swollen and I accidentally got bumped into the wall at school, hit butt first, and nearly passed out from the pain. The worst part was getting it lanced first, and my mom had to stuff gauze inside it, to keep it from healing shut the wrong way.
