I talked to Joakim Noah a few times when he was at school, and he was a pretty nice and relaxed guy. He didn't really show that swagger off the court. It's good to see him doing a lot better now that he's put on some weight.

In case people are wondering how their team looks in comparison to the rest of the league, I added on some rudimentary team analysis pages to the google spreadsheet in the OP.

The numbers on row 17 are the weighted %s, which take into account FGA and FTA. If one guy shoots 6/10 (60%) and another shoots 2/5 (40%), the un-weighted FG% would say 50% because it counts the 60 and 40 equally. The weighted FG% would say 53.3%, reflecting that the 10 FGA guy impacts the overall FG% more than the 5 FGA guy.

The numbers below the weighted %s are just some scratchpaper numbers, they're for FGM and FTM, calculated from FGA*FG% and FTA*FT%.

Man, waiting in this slow draft is brutal. Can late-round picks have a shorter time limit? Maybe we just do the late rounds as a live draft on Yahoo(starting with a recreation of the slow draft)?

I like that it gives you more time to think between picks. If anything we should shorten the time limit for the first four or five rounds, then lengthen it for the latter ones. Hard to give people less than 24 hours to pick, though.

Man, I was amazed to discover how limited my options were by the tail end of the 2nd round... Everybody left is flawed in some way (whether by injuries or uncertain playing time, etc) that it is hard to find a player that isn't a little bit of a gamble at this point.

I know that in the slow drafts done on the Rotoworld forums, if a participant knows he is going to be away for a while, he can leave a list of who he wants to select with another member. Something to consider. i know i have my next two or three rounds mapped out. it could speed things up in here if people don't like the pace.

So until maybe the finals this year, I've always thought Pau was one of the most underrated players in the NBA. But some fool already took him. Thankfully I had a backup plan.

    ohaiwerebr128577633328423636.jpg

So, Marc, how do you feel joining the as-yet-to-be-named team owned by a non-billionaire non-Russian?

    marc-gasol.jpg

How do you think your better brother, Pau will take it? "Pau loves me, see:"

    gasol-brothers-hair.jpg

    "Everyone loves me"

    marc_gasol.jpg

... I think that about covers it. Except for one more thing.

With its second round pick, Frosteey's 2010 Lebroncalypse will roll the dice by selecting Zach Randolph's summer workout regimen.

    HardeesJpg.jpg

In addition to hoping that he repeats his offensive (rebounding) performance of yesteryear, I must hope that this workout regimen will be enough to entice him to my team to perform the basketball-related duties he so loathes.

    images.jpg

Yes, Zach Randolph, The Decision ahead of you is a difficult one, but one I feel is no more difficult than that which I have just made, when I woke up this morning, for the upcoming fall.

    zach_randolphcb2.jpg

I am really questioning this pick but I have it already typed out so I can't go back : ( Also I guess it is okay to once again place my hope in Memphis, the land of fantasy basketball dreams.

i hope he does shake the injuries

the nba needs another dominant center

he was an absolute monster when he played this season

statwise nearly as good as dwight was in 11 less minutes a game (fouls)

i doubt it will happen, but i want it to.

They can run a 3 big rotation fairly easily with that group

Camby played PF last year most of the time next to Kamen

Pryz is the odd man out. There are only spot minutes for him left over.

With the 32nd pick, from the University of Skynet, Team BubbaT selects Model TD-21

    tim_duncan-797909.jpg
    duncan_detail2-758063.jpg

At first glance Model TD-21 is a completely anatomically correct human, right down to the superfluous male nipples

    tim_duncan_nip_slip.png

Due to the absence of Chief Anatomical Verifier Reggie Evans, here we see his assistant James Posey verifying the presence of... um, "other" parts.

    tim_duncan_james_posey.jpg

However, Model TD-21's AI was not designed to include emotions, lest they provoke him into murderous rages. Observe his reaction to lab technician/office douchebag Kevin Garnett telling TD-21 that his mother was made out of aluminum siding.

    timduncankevingarnett.jpg

Similarly, observe his emotionless reaction to being told that Karl Malone is the greatest power forward of all ti-

    TimDuncanSnarls.jpg

Oh shit, it's learned emotion! Quick, everybody tackle him

    _41044394_tim2.jpg

before he starts destroying mankind! Starting with the crappy small forwards

    pacers-spurs-basketball-2009-12-20-0-10-52.jpg

    followed by the beautiful princesses

    471550901_cd44efff00.jpg

and so on in that manner. If we don't stop Tim Duncan now, who knows what levels of world domination it might achieve?
