Can I post a link to let people listen? No money involved. Just wanting feedback. How can I do this? Or does music even fall into the "art" thing here? Brand spankin' new. :? First post. Trying to get a feel for this place!

    Yes you can, in fact not posting your art (music or otherwise) in a new thread is forbidden.
    Providing it goes to a download link, not to your facespace site.

    Can't say I've ever used dropbox, but you'll want to make it as easy as possible for people to listen to your stuff.

    I got the most views posting music when i put up youtube links- they embed directly in your thread so there's much less hassle.

    That said, its more hassle for you lol.

    Youtube is really the way to go if you want people to listen, downloading files is to much of a headfuck for most people.

    Posting music is totally cool-- and many have in the past.

    Just be aware that most of us here are visual artists, and so you aren't going to get the same kind of technical response as you might with a picture.

    Yeah, music is fine. I have seen people post a few links to sutoplay sites that weren't youtube, though I can't remember any off the top of my head.

    also, you might want to take a look at the signature restrictions for this site man.

    Definitely post youtube links. The only time I've gotten any feedback was when I did that. Even with it though, Scosglen is right. I've had some positive feedback, but not a lot of real criticism. But post away! I'd love to hear what you've got.

    You can also use tindeck or mediafire to host and play mp3 files, which might be less work for you.

    Yes sir! Have been a part of Oldominion since before it was Oldominion. We were the "Infested Headz" then we were "The Concentration Camp" and my late emcee counter part Reuben AP came up with the name "Oldominion."

    Here's another one. I actually did a solo thing back in 2005... shot this video for the single for free!!!

    Thank you Prospicience!! I'm a little surprised that no one else commented on anything. To be honest, I expected more and am a little disappointed.

    Come on guys, please send me some feedback about any of these songs.
    I honestly would really appreciate it...

    Not only does it give me a way to get better, but it also gives me something to read during my boring work day...
