Right now, everything is on hold until I can get the server set up again. I might just make this the last day, because I really don't want to go though this again
That Guy, as much of a pain as it has been and as much as everyone has been bitching at you, you are doing a good job given the circumstances and I thank you for putting the effort into wrangling all us tards.

This just in. I am canceling the rest of the tournament since it looks like most of you can't be bothered to show up even if we had a server to play on.
And so prophecy has once again come to pass, thus that no tournament of Fortessing Teams shall ever come to fruition, may they always end in despair and collapse or gnashing of teeth and drama, and woe be upon those foolish enough to once again attempt to defy the Gods by bringing forth such an arrogant display of impetus.
Skexis is playing Dawn of War 2 instead of tuftoo and isn't responding to chat or friend requests.
I just alt tabbed briefly to check the tourney thread, and just saw it. For some reason it wasn't popping up for me in game, but I didn't think this afternoon was a problem because our match wasn't until 6:30...
Um, sorry, guys. The whole "same times as last week" made me think we were going at 6:30...
If you're going to give up on it so easy, That_Guy, then I might be willing to host something in a few weeks. Not a 'standard' tournament by any means, just a bunch of fun stuff I'd like to try out.
(Seriously, just reschedule for next week and get a list of people who know they will attend. It isn't hard)
Not your fault, That Guy. It's a shame people didn't take it more seriously. I know how you feel because the reason my GTA4 LP is 8 months old is because I've had such a hard time just getting 2 other people to show up for one hour each week for commentary.
People who simply never showed up and never explained why should be infracted.
Weren't people temporarily banned or something when they skipped out on the forum battle? You should have worked with the mods to make that something participants had to agree on.
Are you people serious? He sets up a tournament without any concrete times except for a list of days, and switches that like the day before the signups end and actually adds times. Then when those matches end, he sets up a match for next week without having ever said anything about that. You set up times long before hand, you can't expect 45 people to cancel their plans for whenever is convenient for you.

Ok. Here we go. I am home and ready to set things in stone. I want to keep the times the same as there is inevitably going to be problems starting on time and I am sure people will want a small break inbetween matches. Map will still be Granary.
I don't think the most efficient way to communicate schedules is by posting them in a thread where posts quickly accumulate and get swept up in the loads of other posts. He should have set up some RSS feed or something with important stuff on it.
freeze tag
all rifle sniper prop hunt
tf2ware
+ and probably some other stuff
Like I said, not necessarily a tournament. Just something fun to do one night in the upcoming weeks. Don't know what is possible, I'll have to figure out what is and talk to Job or mavers or whoever.

GO TEAM GOOMBA
yeeessssss
Red team seemed to have a decent shot too.
Most of us made it too.
i think that counts as a victory
Free Goomba.
yyyyyyep
Edit - Make a list of everyone who never intended to make a game and ban them in exchange for Goomba
Good enough.

Plus, I could then stick TF2 on the list of 'games I've won money at'.
I declare myself a winner for "having the foresight" to not participating in this failed thing.
i mean people complain about it but it makes it a hell of a lot easier for people to get organized into teams
Valiant effort that guy

"Organized" my foot.
Most of Team Blue in particular did an utter hit and run when signing up for this
Yes, but if you look back about 3 pages or so, you will see me asking over a 3 day period when our next match without a single response.
Anyways, lesson learned, knowing is half the battle, hindsight is 20/20, etc etc.
Which was Monday
