What is it?

Wordfued is a Free APP found in the Android Market. It is esentially [strike]Scrabble[/strike] err... a word making tile game that you can play with friends!

Lost of forumers are playing and I thought that it would be good to make a post for it as we are derailing the android thread.

    Its killing my battery =( My office gets shit reception so my battery is already under a lot of stress. I'm at like 10% left and its only 1345... it wont make it home at this rate.

    I had the option of playing a high scoring PEN (landing on a TW, limited space) or PENIS (no bonus)

    I was able to spell whores when I could have spelled horse and not wasted my Wildcard (used for the w). I respect my choise.

    To anyone I am playing right now it will be a while before my next move, shut down phone to save remaining battery for my drive home. Some of you are stupid good at this game.

    This is not related to Wordfeud in any way, but in Words for Friends on iPhone I was pleasantly surprised to find that "hoboed" was accepted—as in, a past-tense verb form of "hobo." This made my day.

    Ads. After every move you make an ad will load but you can skip it right away.

    I don't find it a problem

    Doesn't it use microUSB?

    Just pick up an extra cable for work. That's what I did.

    it seems like there are ads the first couple of moves but then it just goes to the bottom of the game list

    Hmmm.. Why's this game set to read our contact lists and start at boot? The running applications one is a bit weird too..

    Contact list is to invite people to play and start at boot is because it pushes game updates. At least in theory anyway.

    It's either a pound sterling or some fraction thereof. I never 100% nailed it down, even after working under the coolest British person I've ever known for 2 years.

    Oh man, I've been waiting so long to find a game like this on the Android (ie the entire week I've had mine). Now if only I can get a Boggle clone my phone's total absorption of my attention will be complete.

    I scored like 31 points with "wangs" and I got a decent score with "cooze" which is a kinda gross word. I don't even know why I remember that word from old porno mags but I do and it was accepted so whatever. :D

    What happens if you try to end your turn with a non-word on the board? I'm afraid to try because I don't want to lose a turn or something.

    It will just tell you that the word isn't in the game's dictionary and it is still your turn. You can clear your letters off the board and try again.

    Im in the Navy and out network would lock me out :/ I may just start brining my charger.

    Also, I updated the OP with the recent PM's. Sorry it took a while, I had to give a tour of one of my squadron's ships today.

    You would be in trouble if Acronyms were allowed... in the Navy thats how we talk! I would have to drop some COMCARSTRKGRU or COMPACFLT on your domes!

    Man, this game is fun. Seriously causes my battery to drain really quickly, though, either because of the notifications or just by virtue of the screen being switched on a lot.

    I just sent that comic to my buddy who I'm wordfueding with. He was pissed when I played "dita" yesterday, for that very reason. At that point the "only play words you know" rule was put into effect.
