Out of curiosity, are there three other people interested in the 4-pack? It works out to $15/person, and I can make the initial purchase. I would require reimbursement via Paypal.
No. The 24-hour head start should begin right about now.
I'm looking forward to some impressions/reviews as well - I love worms (and tf2-stuff), but I've heard this is basically a (lazy?) port of the console version with way less weapons than Armageddon had, so I'm a bit concerned...

I am interested. You can PM me info on where to Paypal the money.

Hell count me in, too. I'll pay 15 bucks for the game, sure.
I have one copy left from a 4-pack. If someone wants it for $15, add me on Steam and I'll send you paypal details. The game has unlocked, so you could be playing right now.
It's Worms, but it looks weird. Also there's weird stuff, like sentry guns.
I just played an online game, which I won with a single worm with 1 HP left.
What's the button for chat? Towards the end of the game, I saw a ringing phone, which in Armageddon was the symbol for unread chat messages, but I don't know how to open the chat in this.

~ to chat. Its a bit awkward.
I moved it to Q and moving around with WASD, Shift to jump and Space to attack.
I haven't tried using girders, but switching air strike direction was moved from arrow keys to Z, so I'd assume it's the same for girders.
I played a couple of games against the computer. I don't know if it was just because it was on easy, but it seemed much stupider than it ever was in Armageddon. It positioned multiple worms right next to each other, near water and fell into water when using the jet pack to get a crate.
Also, I bound the chat key to page down, Worms Armageddon style.
IIRC there are two reaspons you might not want to attack from the rope. 1. The limitation on weapons available, and 2. the time limit after you attack may induce panic.
One of them did seem to try doing it after having seen me do it, but didn't figure out that you use the jump button instead of the fire button and just wasted a ninja rope.
Good news to whoever posted something about explosions not having any weight in Armageddon -- they shake the screen and it's quite loud, theres OOMPH to it
edit: the movie trailer soundbank for worms voices is fucking awesome
"It was supposed to be a routine pick up..."
"No one thought he would pull the trigger..."
"In the beginning, there were worms..."
"In a world, where no worm, could trust each other..."
sadly for those who played worms strictly for ninja roping, I don't think this is the game for you
I really dislike the rope physics in this one, and I was one of those who played rope race and shoppers and all back in the day
The physics in general seem kind of strange compared to Armaggeddon and World Party. I can't seem to put my grenades where I want them, and ropes work rather weirdly.

No, that's perfectly natural. It's what inspired me to get back into Sam & Max.

Update your DirectX.
I can dig that, although I suppose it would make more sense if it was the default PA group.
Thank you, that worked.

and it crashes on startup! I just get the team 17 logo and then it goes kaput
running win7 ultimate 64 bit and yes, I updated direct x
Multi player games are not displaying for me, however.
EDIT: Got the games to list, but it crashed the program when I attempted to join. Odd.
I'm running the same, and it's working fine for me.
