and me being me, I'm glad they did a slow take like this because their pitches go by so fast i usually can't make out what they're saying or process the pun before the next pitch.
The Blam Nights episodes are extra Blams we're doing between seasons of PATV. So it's extra. We're still going to do one traditional Blam a month. Did I just call Blams traditional?
But you know what I mean? We have a very specific format and voice cadence for the blams. We do skits and puns and have the in-between moments with just us.
But Blam Nights is more like our old podcasts. It's just us riffing as us. Not in character as the BLAM versions of ourselves. It's just us talking and we do some light blamimation to it.
It's a different pace.
So the next blam will be the two skits with in-betweens like normal. Then after that another blam nights. Then a regular blam, etc. For the forseeable future I guess.
Well, it was a different style from the usual blam. More like Scott & Kris' typical podcast banter (a la the Daily Affirmation), but a little more tightly scripted and with a minor visual gag as a bonus. I enjoyed it!
Edit: Wow, color me slow. Beat'd by the fucking creator.
Also, Scott, if you're still in this thread, what's up with the Morning After? Is it still a going concern? I see there are like 5 eps up, last posted on the 9th apparently? I never see it promoted on your site or either of Kris'.
Also also, your forum location is still showing as "Dallas (for now)." Surely it's time for a Seattle update?
Yeah, I need to change my location to Seattle now. Good point.
The Morning After is something Kris and I kind of wanted to test the waters out on before committing to it. And it's great. We love it and want to make it a regular thing. But Kris will be going on a vacation soon and so it's on hold until he comes back.
At which point we're going to take the existing shows, turn them into MP3s, make a website, get an RSS feed, get an iTunes, feed, etc.
We're working on a lot of content right now and priorities need to be made. Right now Morning After has fallen back to a position of "in a month, month and a half."

I know it may too much to hope for, but what are the odds of a Blam collection coming out on DVD? 'cuz I'd totally buy that. Like with money. From a butt. Or my wallet.

I really want to watch this blam but it won't play for me. The streaming version hangs up and stops loading and if I manage to get that "Switch" button to appear so I can change to the loading version, my browser hard locks after a few seconds.
Browser was the Mac version of Safari, 5.0.1.

The difference between Blam Nights and Blamimation is that Scott and Kris are both detectives in the former. Good news though, the second season of Nights is going to be X-Files quality weird. Bad news: the Hoff.

But why would you resist?
Cool, thanks for the update.
it just feels right
It meant I could have it playing in the background while I was pretending to work
Kris just made the strongest argument for having a game installed on your phone I've ever heard
They should make this idea into a game
Like foursquare, but with poop
turns out it was just because I had VLC open. cool program, but it does weird stuff.
(and I don't even like poop jokes)
