Curriculum of Shadows at [Mini]Phalla University
A small group of college students found something interesting on their first day of college. When the slept, they all had the same dreams. Dreams of high adventure, mystery, and magic. And it all took place in somewhere called the Orphic Realms. And each of their dream selves, their Shadows, had their own unique name.
The native dreams were to be exotic and eccentric, it had been a long time since they had guests. And so it seemed that these students would be gifted with a unique experience during their college lives, while the native dreams would have new people to explore and adventure with.
The new arrivals were not welcomed by all, however. A few of the dreams found their machinations thrown into chaos by the arrival of these intruders. Agreeing to put aside their difference, they banded together and created false bodies to occupy while they walked in the daylit lands. Here, they would remove these interlopers from the college, for it seemed that their ability to cross between the daylit lands and the Orphic realms relied upon something intrinsic to the college itself. Even leaving the college for too long would remove their memories of the Orphic realm. After studying the interlopers, the dreams realized that these dreamers were somehow connected with their Shadows by their Shadow Name and their Day name.
And so, it was the first time a Day Name and a Shadow Name were uttered together to cast a dreamer from the Orphic realms.
What is this?
It's a Phalla. Well, a [mini]Phalla, to be more accurate. It's for 20 people.
What's a Phalla?
It's the forum version of the Mafia or Werewolf game. There's a village, a mafia, a vote, and a dream.
What's so special about this one?
Well, I'm running it. I think that's kinda nice. OH! And it's got some interesting mechanics that I think will be fun.
Mechanics? Do I look like a broken car?
Well, since I'm talking with myself, no. I don't think I do.
To answer the actual question:
There is the normal village vote that gets someone expelled by planting evidence against them.
There is a mafia.
And everyone has two names that, when spoken aloud by a Shadow in the Twisted Reflection, severs their Shadow from their self, removing all memories of the Orphic realm.
Wait, what?
When someone posts someone's Day Name and Shadow Name in the same post while the speaker has their shadow in the Twisted Reflection, the player who has both of those names is removed from the game.
Oh. What happens if you mess up?
There will be... penalties for misuse these names.
How many names can I speak?
As many as you dare.

Here's how each Phalla day works
DAYTIME
Each student may take one action each round. These actions are generally private. At the beginning of each day, a player gains $50 from home.
Hang out – During the day, you may choose to socialize with someone. You learn their student name, but they learn yours as well.
Shop – Spend money on fun things!

2. Study Supplies (Consumable) (Find out two things about the other world when you research) ($30)
3. Energy Drinks (Consumable) (Take another Action) ($50)
School Clinic – If you haven’t taken any damage today, you’ll get healed of any wounds you have.
Investigate town – It's a big town. Lots of things could happen.!
Work part time – Get $40
Research – Spend some time in the library and try to figure our something about the one of the Orphic Locations.
Nighttime
Each Shadow may move to one location. This is done in !LIME once the game starts.
Each Shadow may take one action each round. These can can either be the actions of their location (for example ACTIVATE TWISTED REFLECTION) or any special actions that require them to be there. These actions are generally private.

Night 1: Under Siege

In the DAYTIME section, you say each player can take ONE action each night. Did you mean each day?
Each phalla night you get a night and day action.
For shopping, are you buying an item that can be used on a later day, or an instant effect? If the former, is there a limit on how many items can be used each day?
The item can be used on a later day.
There is no limit to how many can be used or bought at one time. However, some items that require you to use an action.

No. You go somewhere and then spend an action to explore it. And then something fun happens.

No.
