    The one thing I didn't like about Inside Man was the female lead's part. She doesn't serve any purpose. She just goes to the cop and is like "ok make double sure that you catch these guys, you were planning on catching them, right?"

    And the cop is like uh yeah we are gonna really try it's kind of our job.

    And that's her role, but she's billed as a main character.

    While they were trying to negotiate he drew a handgun and pointed it straight at one of the hostages
    They had to act, and in that situation there was only one thing to do
