The Naruto fighting games that they've done aren't "bad" really, just shallow. The more recent PS3 ones have been REALLY pretty too. The only reason I was interested in them is because the Gamecube fighters were pretty good, but those were developed by 8ing who then went on to develop Tatsunoko vs Capcom.
I read on the .hack series and trying to get into it sound scary and impossible.
Still, awaiting for more details on this. Looks really promising so far.
Depends on what you want to get into in terms of .hack. The Game's aren't bad, but if you do plan on getting them, play the first set. After playing G.U. playing through the original four is almost impossible.
If you're also including the vast Manga/Light novels/Anime/etc then yeah, it's alot. Not really necessary to enjoy the games however, most of them are side stories. They just happen to take place in "The World".
I didn't realize Cyberconnect2 was going to make other games, since rumors of them ending .hack after //link surfaced.

This was probably the best and angriest trailer I have ever seen.
wow I think that guy got penetrated more times than Paris Hilton.
I am interested in this game because.. as others have said it looks like it will be a decent GoW type game. Completely over the top with a ridiculously pissed of protagonist who is probably angry over something that is ultimately his own damn fault.
This game seems to be willing to be more completely insane than God of War was. I like that. God of War just had you fight a giant statute. This game has space Buddha.

It is being made by CC2 and I did really like .Hack//GU
But they say they're going for a Japanese GoW and I can't say I cared for GoW.
I'll keep an eye out for it though.
I could do with another god hand esque game. So far it fits by being ridiculously badass.

I see what you did there.

Day 1. Don't care about gameplay.
That dude looks angry about something.
Buddha enlightened his father!

Bayonetta but angry instead of stylish climax action or whatever they call it
By which I mean, Bayonetta is untouchable while this guy can come back from being stabbed more times than Caesar
hmmm
female/male dynamic in vidyagames, huh?
Edit: Also, I'm surprised that for a UE3 game I'm actually interested in the visuals.
Still fighting space buddha.
