Thats a really sweet tat tam, and man I've never been so depressed for a dude. Makes me feel like a weenine for complaining so much while giving up soda. Cant wait to see it actually done, but I hope time slows down as Stale eats his final meal.
Obilex, that is my favorite of your environments, its a good balance of texture and smoothness with strait up good lighting.
Me? crappy faces today:
These are all refs but I wont post the refs cause they look nothing like the refs. I have to get better at measuring.
That third face is fabulous, it feels really solid.
DR I think that's my favorite... head shape you've done yet! His chin is neat. I like his yes, although it does just kinda make him look like he's either a super hard worker or has been on a bender for a week

so i'm still trying to get the hang of my wacom (got an intuos4 a year ago while working for a wacom seller.. never actually used it since my laptop was too slow.)
I hope to get more active here and improve my wacom -and pencilwork...
Clint eastwood does sorta have weird squinty eyes, but I do think that eye is too high, It just doesnt look like its conforming to the right slant.
Finally saw what you meant. It was a mistake in the plan stages. I drew his eyes on the board in the correct spot. But when it came to rendering i mistook the linework shape for his eyebrow as being his eye. Painted over the thing and placed the eye where it should have been. thanks for the heads up!
Im calling this done.
final scan. scanning in four pieces and piecing together in photoshop is a pain in the ass!

That eye looks better to me. That is definitely my favourite of the things I've seen from you. Love a bit of Clint
His face seems a little small and his hand seems abnormally large, plus the elbow on our left seems pretty far out compared to the one on our right.
Also, the gun could use some work on structure and detail. The perspective is pretty subtle, so the difference between angle of the scope and the angle of the tip of the barrel probably shouldn't be nearly as stark, or even necessarily detectable.

There's quite a bit going wrong with that pic, jpeg, but lets just focus on the gun!
One. The way he's holding it is all wrong. Since he's holding it with his left had, that means he's right handed. No right handed shooter would hold a gun like that. The whole gun should be rotated 180 degrees. That way he can bring the gun up to his shoulder quick without rotating it.
The angle is wrong as well. The butt and the barrel should be the same angle.

tried to address some of the issues you guys pointed out
I left the gun flipped upside down because I wasn't really intending him to be super battle-ready or anything? I dunno. I shortened the arms and adjusted sizes and tried to fix some angles, though
also, started inking this dude even though the sketch isn't good or done because I am the king of bad art practices. the hand on his hip is...I don't even know what I was thinking.

so I just type in this box and it goes on the screen?

But here's a pokemon I drew for a friend. She's supposed to make me a crochet pokeball!
And in case anyone is interested, I'm slowly moving up in the world. Right now I'm play testing at bethesda softworks!
also fyi, "thumbnail" is spelled incorrectly on your portfolio site!
EDIT: i don't mean to be pedantic, i just hate it when i find stuff like that on my own site many months later

I enjoy trying to draw more realistic versions of pokemon. Would you be able to tell it was an eevee if I hadn't said it was a pokemon?
And good catch on the website, I'll fix it when I get off work!
But yeah, it definitely screams Eevee.

That dick is staring through my soul.
I cant help but imagine him walking and man its terrifying.
Man you're such a dick DR.
It was a tshirt for work that I don't think will get printed
Well damnit if I'm not going to put this on a t-shirt. Just need to figure out how to do that.
though I'm not sure the scrotal eyes work quite as well with a young man

Figured I'd try my hand at matte painting, came up with this.

might sexy up the neck a little bit, but I'm kind of in to this "average" girl body type

Greatnation, I don't know if it's intentional, but the top part of her head- from the eyes up- looks a beach/ocean scene
a thing:
edit: and some other stuff
I am having stupid problems visualizing the shapes in this gun, I basically am not understanding the angle at work here
I could use some help

Either way it goes, no one would hold a gun with the sights down.
I guess I can post this study.
