    The map is infinite.

It's generated as you explore it.

    seriously?

    an infinite procedurally generated world?

fuck. yes. I am buying this as soon as it is possible again.

Yes. Is your view distance set to the highest setting? You should be able to see the map generating in the distance.

One time when I was working at Gamestop, some highschool-aged girl walked in

so I did my job and walked up to her and asked her if she needed help

she gave me this disgusted look and said, "Uhm...no" in the bitchiest tone

She probably just assumed you were gonna try to rip her off since she was at a gamestop. It's totally legit.

    hell maybe she was

the lesson to be learned in this story is that it doesn't matter whether or not it was the right thing to do, just forget about it and move on

The only time I get annoyed when people walk up to me and say Hi or whatever is if I have headphones on, or I am doing homework (especially writing) or reading.

The first because man! I have headphones on! I am listening to something! Now I gotta take em off!

The latter two because man you just ruined my flow! I've lost so many good sentences mid-way via being interrupted.

Also, all those actions are generally like "no fly zones" for social interaction.

you guys are much easier to play with than my friends sometimes
    you guys are great

also, i have the most whack setup
my pc's wireless is being shared to my xbox
i left my speakers at home so i have headphones on, also since i am without my speakers, i cant turn up the volume on the headphones
but then to get voice chat i need to play voice through my speakers, and i left my regular headset at home, which i could normally put around my neck so the mouthpiece is near my mouth

but instead i have this old cellphone type headset which i kind of have resting on my shirt with the mic point towards my mouth
and i constantly am leaning my face towards it so then i get neck cramp

Back in high school, when MP3 players were becoming huge, I remember people constantly striking up conversation with me when I was wearing headphones. It was generally for two reasons,

    1) What the hell are you listening to? It's stupid and you're stupid.

    2)

Dudes, total tangent but man, you think having a dagger in your off hand wouldn't really give you that much of a defensive increase but holy crap! It's like an anti-sword windshield wiper. Fencing single sword seems so limited in comparison now.

    Gotta be overheatin' brah.

You can try booting into Safe Mode and leaving it on for a long period of time and seeing if it happens again. If not then it's probably driver related. Does the shut off happen if you're not doing anything, or if you're working on the machine a lot?
