Reposting this outside of the Pokemon thread ... I'm sure there are alot of people that never go in there, and it would be a shame to miss this trailer. It's pretty unbelievable what they managed to make ... I would love to see more live action stuff ala Halo.

Hollywood should start paying more attention, I think there's alot of people that would go see stuf flike this.

Wait, you watched that and thought it was legitimately awesome?

I thought it was intentionally hilarious. It's pretty clearly parody/pastiche, and excellent parody/pastiche at that.

Yup I thought it was awesome. I WOULD PAY MONEY TO SEE IT! (mostly though for the reasons you mention)

I like that Brock intentionally keeps his eyes closed when he's talking.

    Two questions: Is there more?

And how long did the sfx work take on what kind of budget?

There are a bunch of scenes we filmed that we left out because it was all entirely too long for a trailer.

And the sfx had zero budget and was my friend Kial (Director/Brock) working from his room in his spare time for a year.

I'm not sure, I'll ask him when I get a chance.

And as for more in the future, we don't have plans to do any more Pokemon related stuff but we're still filmmakers so we'll find something to make.

Oh ok, so this isn't a full fledged fan movie?

That kind of explains why the Mega Man fan movie doesn't look as good as your "trailer" (cutscenes even.)

Nintendo wouldn't be cool with it like Capcom is with their fans.
