I have mixed feelings about themed lists, personally. They are fun, but, I'm pretty sure that 95% of the time you can build a better list by ignoring them.
Oh, I forgot to address this.
Yeah, some of the theme army lists are shit (pSkarre's theme list, which is based around Amphibious 'jacks, comes to mind) but some of them really bring a warcaster's theme together. I like eGoreshade's theme list as well, since it really supports using lots of Bane Thralls, which are pretty neato.
It's probably more of a factor for Cygnar than Cryx (as I remember cryx having limited mercenary options) but, it pretty much seemed that for Cygnar including a handful of the right mercenaries would always give me more of a boost than my theme, but of course mercenaries are never allowed under any theme list.
You guys are doing this online through VASSAL or something, right?
No, were going to take pictures of the game board and send them back and forth to eachother via email, also photographs of our die rolls...
Sorry! I couldn't help but me glib for a moment there. Yeah, we are using VASSAL.
Yeah, it's extra sucky because each of us has to buy all the figures for both our own army and our opponent's army. :P

I was just planning on super-imposing your photos over my photos because I am cheap.

But looking at the wiki feels like cheating to me.
I could tell you how to make waterfalls.
Well I have like three pools separated by hills. And I want to make a castle in the valley, including the middle pool.
How do I get the pool behind it to go over the hill and waterfall down into the other pool?
make two buckets
little trick with water: two springs of water one block apart will create a third beetween them. So with two buckets of water you have infinite water. That doesn't work with lava, though.
In warmachine do you know who has the first turn before or after you deploy?
Before the game starts, you roll a die. Whoever gets the highest roll gets to choose 1) which side they're on, and 2) whether they will go first or second.
If they go first, they deploy their army first, and also take the first turn of the game after deployment. If they go second, they deploy second, and take the second turn of the game.

Were the pools created by a spring or are they natural and stagnant?
Uh, how do I tell which is which? One of them runs out to the ocean, I think. I was going to have a royal harbour there. And then the one behind that is where I want the castle. And then the one after that is the one I was hoping to involve a waterfall in.
all water that isn't flowing is a spring
springs are the "real" water that you can scoop up into buckets and such
so if you place a bucket of water somewhere, it'll start flowing anywhere it can, but it'll never drain

So yes, to answer your question. :P
I just thought it would be funny if you positioned all your dudes hyper-aggressively forward and then lost the roll for the first turn.
I'm currently going through my Babylon 5 dvd's again.
I should really pick up Season 5.
Why oh god why? I stop at 4 and I love B5.
This is kind of true. Just make sure that when you're watching season five if anybody with long flowing Bon Jovi hair wanders into view fast forward until they fuck off. And maybe skip some of the standalone episodes as well.
All the Centauri Prime stuff is good, and the very last episode is brilliant.
Inqi, my army is so infantry machine once I learn the game since I will be doing Irusk who is infantry boost god. My tier 4 army if I did it has something like 32 infantry models and one heavy warjack. 33 if you include the caster.

If they're just pools then they're probably stagnant water. You need to make buckets. I think the recipe is
NNN
INI
NIN where N is nothing and I is iron bars. You use the buckets to scoop up spring sources. If you scoop a bucket at a block of water and nothing happens then it's just water and not a flowing spring. Once you find two sources of springs and you put them in a bucket you can create a pool that will give you infinite springs. Dig a 2x2 hole in the ground and dump the springs like this:
OW
WO where O is nothing and W are the springs.
The two springs will flow into each other and you will create unlimited water. You can grab new springs that will create water from this pool infinitely. The best way to create a waterfall is to do the same thing as you did to get the unlimited springs but in a longer line, like so:
OWOWOWOW
WOWOWOWO
If you don't create a bunch of springs in the waterfall you might not get enough flow depending on how far you need the river to travel before it falls off the side. Insert new springs where the water level isn't high enough for your liking. You'll have to do this to get a lake to work correctly.

Well now I'm just happy that the caster I like has AoEs out the ass.

Ahh yes, the telepath story arch. Christ it was annoying. They could have done it much better if it weren't for flowing hair guy prancing about trying to act.
Yeah okay. As effective as the LEGO brand is, I think ultimately Minecraft is where I need to be.
It is fun, looks great, and has a few innovate features for an MMO but ultimately will fail due to LEGO's terror that someone somewhere will besmirch their good name with a LEGO phallus

Well I mean with a video feed and ...
Huh. I am always curious about warmachines, but mostly because of the minis.

What do you mean figure out how to make roofs?
Why couldn't you make a waterfall?
how do I make one

the X's are iron bars. That's the recipe for a bucket.
To get iron bars, you smelt iron ore in a furnace.
Hey Arch, I've always wanted to be a LEGO widow. <3<3
you just place blocks above you
I think so, unless you were a beta tester
Note that I haven't been playing because of dollars and because I got sick of the aforementioned digital parenting

Okay, and then I stab at water with it until I pick some up, take it back and put it on top of the hill?
I guess I should make a furnace first.
oh man tonight is going to be crazy

but...wouldn't they fall down? Like I know sand falls when I pull blocks out from under it, but I don't want to be trapped by stone.

I was joking : (
if the bucket doesn't pick up the water, the water you're aiming at isn't a spring
it's easier to figure out by yourself than explain
so make a bucket and go figure out water
also yeah make a furnace
you can make glass with it!
