Chicken update. I breaded two breasts. One of them was huge, so it took forever to cook and burned on the outside before it cooked in the middle. I threw it away and chalked it up to learning something and will try something different for larger things next time. The other chicken breast was fine though, and eating will commence shortly
next time you have a thick chicken breast you can fillet it down the middle so everything's the same size and will cook evenly

I have this problem where I'm hell of lazy. So if I don't have food that is right there and ready to eat I often don't eat! Which is bad. And when I do eat I eat crappy food.
But I actually like cooking! So. I just need to stop being dumb and start cooking real meals a lot more often.

Cooking is amazing. It has the sense of accomplishment of carpentry but you get to eat the delicious things you make instead of staring at a stupid birdhouse
I can't wait until I have the time and space to cook more
that is fun but also crazy hectic, at least for me! i've been doing potluck dinners with friends so I get the satisfaction of people liking my food without having to do all the work
