You're aware that you're going to PAX right? Everybody there is some kind of perv, and creepiness is highly subjective. I had drunken weirdos all over me, and I'm not even female! (I am somewhat androgenous and bi, but that drunken linebacker was seriously not my type.)

Oh I know, and I'm not uber sensitive to such things or anything, but theres a difference between your regular partygoing pervy guy/girl (heck I'm a perv >.>) and the creepy "I'm going to rape you as soon as no ones looking and I can chloroform you" kind.

Yeah seriously...I get mistaken for a girl all the time at work... -_-; I'm sure it wouldn't take too much alcohol in someone's system to think I was female.

Once when I was still working IT support for Seattle U School of Law, I was down in the law clinic when a guy I sort of knew walked in and I was there with some woman and he said, "Hello, ladies..." and then after I turned around I could see him think 'oh shit!' and he quickly added "... and Adam."

When I used to work for my dad, I had crazy long hair, and a scraggly-ass beard. Well, one day I'm behind the counter, bent over counting stock. This guy comes in and says "Hello..." Then I turned around and his face about melted and he tried to backpedal and get his smokes. Never mind that I don't even have an ass by male standards let alone female standards and I'm skinny as a pole.

This sounds like a smashing party and I think I would like to attend. My only concern is getting there and back--I'll be staying with friends that have a place in the Kirkland area and I'll probably be limited to public transportation. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance. :)

Some buses run pretty late, I'd see what transit.metrokc.gov has to say.

Weekend bus service sucks for late nights. Lots of stuff (including the buses you want) end at 11:00. You are going to be stuck driving, crashing somewhere for the night, or taking a cab.

This sounds excellent. I love pool, darts, wonton gambling, pretty much everything you can do that is decadent in a bar.

I would like to get a few groovy people together and find a cosh lounge. Does anyone know if there are any good martini or cigar clubs in the area?

I envision Sealab having a shot drinking contest like at the beginning of "Raiders of the Lost Ark"

If you're looking for the epicenter of Seattle martinis, I would say Chapel Bar. They don't list them on their site, but their martini selection is enormous.

It's not like there's some rule against other parties, in fact the more the better, it'll take some of the pressure off. Not to mention I think competition and rivalry are healthy.
