Maybe I should celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving and American Thanksgiving. It would mean more turkey...

Is it like a metric calendar that makes Thanksgiving go from its proper month of November into the crazy Canuck October?

bags of milk make more sense

    here's why:

cartons: sometimes it's hard to open the top of them.. sometimes you get a dud carton where you follow the steps that it clearly lays out for you, but it does that thing where you just rip apart the layers of the carton... then you have to pry open the milk with a knife, and then the top of your carton is all sloppy.

jugs: get that ring of disgusting milk junk around the lip... gross.

bags: perfect pour, easy to open, just snip the top corner! if you're a worry wart ,you can use a little milk bag clip on it to keep it perfectly sealed
fits good into a milk bag container.

PERFECTION that is all we're striving for here, really.

Also, I am going to try making one of your mayonnaise cakes this weekend, time permitting.

I've heard of maple syrup being added to the brine for bacon, and I've heard of people putting maple syrup on cooked bacon, but I don't think you can actually cook bacon in maple syrup.

why buy so little milk in the first place

gallon jugs are the way to go

edit: I always dip my bacon in maple syrup, it is delicious

but then again all breakfast foods taste good together when combined in any way

    not that ive done it

i guess mixing it in grease might make it burn. Just put the syrup in the pan before the bacon starts cooking. It would just get really runny.

I must now do this to test it out
