You can get by with adding one binding, if you are really hurting for space. You can click rend (HILARIOUS) since you only need to apply it once during a fight, and you can use one binding for HS/Cleave and just interchange which one you need as the situation applies.

...soo, after someone's RankWatch alerted me to the fact that my newly 80'd shaman was using a downranked spell, I thanked him and promptly downloaded the addon to make sure it never happened again, and to do a public service to everyone around me.
oh, the horror! Ignorance is bliss... get this addon and you will find that like 1 in 4 players use downranked versions of their core abilities... even people with 5000 gearscore... why god why...

Regarding the two-shotting: Shamans because of Lava Lash apparently being ridiculous instead of a joke, but DKs why? When I was on Beta last night, nothing seemed to be hitting ridiculously hard for my DK... of course, I only tried Blood and Unholy. Unholy does seem fun, I may go back to that with my Orc...

Provided tomorrow's patch doesn't do anything to really screw me over like remove Knot Thimblejack or something, I should have it within a few days to a week (unless the Zandalar Tribe goes poof tomorrow instead of 4.0.3 in which case I'll need to go farm Sha'tar rep or something).
Also as a service to my guild (and because I have a Moll-E and can only hold a single ogre suit at a time), all the regular members are receiving a mail to explain some of the new systems with a free ogre suit attached to help them cope with all the change. Got like 2k goblin rep from making those suits and still got 40 more tannin in my bank (though I'm out of rugged leather now).

well, there's reason #1 you have some spare buttons.
also you have some shift reaches there that I don't really like, although that's preference I guess. I personally don't like using mousewheel directions either.

Is ZG going away tomorrow? People were saying no, because the world isn't changing, but then people are saying yes. I'm confused, and wish to know for sure...
Granted, I did them and it wasn't really an issue, but still, I'd like to know and clear the air up.
So I'm thinking about checking out one of the new race/class combinations tomorrow. Did they change racials at all for Cata? I thought I read somewhere that they all were getting overhauled.

Nothing about the physical world is changing with 4.0.1. It'll be gone by 4.0.3 though.
I'd like to know if the system that is supposed to put a balance on players for WG is going to be in 4.0.1 though; as I never bothered with the PTR.

I guarantee this a stupid question, but what benefit do the profession bonus racials actually provide? Don't you still start at a skill of one point? I big dumb dumb and want be smrt.
I think it's a benefit at some of the skill breakpoints(for gathering), like maybe journeyman -> artisan, so that the orange herbs/mines fail less often, or so when you're in a zone that has herbs/mines that straddle journeyman and artisan, you can gather the higher level ones until you have enough skill to train up to the next level.

Yup.
You gain skillups as if you had the base amount of points, but can learn things that are up to the bonus level.

I was being sarcastic when I commented on not using a lot of buttons.
I don't use the default ui, so the bar that I click is near the center of my screen. Those few abilities I do click are situational, I can see them coming and flick the mouse cursor appropriately. I rarely need to quickly hit them.
I use my thumb button to target, and I'm a full grown man, so there aren't any shift reaches. I mean it's as easy to hit all of the buttons while holding shift as it is to hit them normally. If I need to move but am using my middle finger for something other than W, I just depress the middle mouse button to move forward.
Holding shift adds no complexity whatsoever.
Really, what do you have tiny hands? or a huge keyboard?
Also, thanks for suggesting a thread, but I'm OK with what I got at this point changing it wouldn't help me at all. I was just typing out all of the buttons we use.

Checking curse and wowace, most of my addons haven't been updated for 4.0, nor does it look like they will be. I guess I'll be playing with the godawful default UI for a couple of months here until Bartender gets updated and the X-Perl guy gets off his ass... :P

Bartender worked fine on the ptr. SUF isn't updating so I'm going to have to go with pitbull 4. Necrosis is now obsolete for me so that's going. Anything else hasn't updated yet though.
