My wife just jumped on me and I put her in a body triangle.
She didn't like that.
Yeah I sometimes put my wife in a Kimura or arm triangle if she's trying to be annoying or play fighting... She doesn't like that at all.
Does anyone know the story with Sexyama's entrance song and kneel down ritual? I know he's done it forever but is there are big reason? Like the holding hands after he gets up?
I don't remember the last time I saw a Triangle/crucifix
Find the Chris Lytle/Matt Brown fight. Lytle puts Brown in the same move, but I believe he finished Brown with a straight armbar instead of just punching him in the face a lot.

fucking christ how many times are people going to kick sexyama in the balls
So from what you guys are posting, sounds like they switched Wilks vs. Patrick for Gustafson vs. Diabate. Pretty good choice, that fight was a hump fest.
Hathaway got raped, fuck me that was bad to watch, I think that early shot that rocked him just took his heart out of it because I have never seen him look so stiff. Pyle is much better than many people gave him credit for and John will be back, but still harsh.
Condit did to Dan what no one else has done ever, the guy has been hit hard and never rocked (hence him eating too many shots, over confident). Carlos Condit made a huge fan out of me last night, so classy in the win too. Props to Dan for being a good guy about it, showing up to the presser and complimenting Condit too.
Bisping, meh...he did what most people thought he would, my only compliment was that it dd look like he hurt Akiyama in the 3rd, at first I thought it was just Rogans bullshit but in the replay he did wobble him a little, shit maybe he is actually getting better but he still needs to leave the shithole that is Wolfslair.
Sass, that kids weird, 10 subs in 11 fights 8 by triangle but he doesn't actually look all that great, effective but not skilled in the way Hazellett is.

You kidding? Sass looked amazing. There were two or three times in that really short fight where it looked like Holtz was going to escape to his feet and Sass just somehow held on to him like he had fucking suction cups on his feet and hands to keep him on the mat. I loved that fight.
Also Bisping is still the most underrated high profile* fighter in the world.
*Obviously this caveat is required because it overlooks the guys (and gals) who just don't get a lot of attention period. Like Mamoru!!

Maybe it's because I watched it with my Ju-Jitsu coach, who trains with Braulio Estima...He was critical of Sass's technique, I took that on board.
Was pleased to see him win though and hope he develops.
James McSweeney vs. Fabio Maldonado
A brit got killed. Bad for the homecrowd, but personally I'm glad to see McSweeney lose again. Hopefully he gets cut. He's a bad fighter with a worse attitude
Paul Sass vs. Mark Holst
Sass looked weird but he constantly wanted the fight on the ground and Holst was dumb enough to oblige.
Rob Broughton vs. Vinicius Queiroz
Brits got a win, hooray
Cyrille Diabaté vs. Alexander Gustafsson
YES! Finally a SWEDISH FIGHTER who does not get instantly murdered in the UFC. Gustafsson destroyed Cyrille
James Wilks vs. Claude Patrick
I picked claude to win, but boy he didn't win in a very entertaining fashion here. Incredibly dull and one sided fight.
Cheick Kongo vs. Travis Browne
What the hell was this shit. And a draw on top of it all. I expected a TKO from either guy, at the very least. Horrible fight and it soured the rest of the card a bit
John Hathaway vs. Mike Pyle
Hathaway looked really really strange. He was incredibly slow and stiff and it looked like everything he did was in slowmotion compared to how he normally fights. Pyle dominated
Dan Hardy vs. Carlos Condit
Good fight and AWESOME finish. For a brief second I thought they were going to double KO eachother and then Carlos just sends Dan into another world with his fist.
Michael Bisping vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama
Entertaining fight for sure where both guys ate a lot of punishment. Bisping did what he usually does. A) Almost get knocked out and Outwork his opponent impressively.
I'm shocked that Hardy got KOd, by Condit of all people. Pretty darn cool. The Bisping/Akiyama fight wasn't too entertaining, Bisping just peppered him with shots and failed at takedowns. Akiyama really needs to diverisfy his game if he wants to go anywhere. He swung a lot of big right hands, some of which hurt Bisping a bit. But there were few combos, no takedown attempts, no clinch attempts, and he stood at a range where Bisping was able to land his jabs over and over again. Akiyama has a strong chin but lacks the speed to be a counter puncher and the cadio to apply constant pressure. He seriously needs to change the way he fights; it seems like he can only do well in fights that turn into brawls.
I was dumbstruck when Hardy got dropped, as I said, he always had an iron beard until now. He also looked "with it" when he hit the deck, like he was about to up kick but then Condit put that shit to bed.
Carlos is such a nice guy though, really good attitude in the post fight with Helwani:
"it could have been me KO'd so I am not gonna talk trash"
Dan has a long way to go to prove himself again though, I believe him when he says he has improved his ground game, having Victor Estima teaching at the Roughhouse will help anyone's game, but his one strength was he was hard to stop and a vicious counter striker, will he be able to adjust his stand-up enough to avoid getting KTFO again?
Bummed to see Hathaway look so bad, for a guy so young it might have been a good wake up call though, he has never been hurt standing before as he could always take down or out reach the guys, but Pyle was like Kryptonite to him. Like any guy that young, he will be back and better but it's going to be a long ass road before the UK produces a real contender.
