that song can't stand a chance with someone who doesn't even like sweet home alabama
James makes up for this by having good taste in women.
I liked Sweet Home Alabama right up until I realized that in the lyrics they're basically excusing the Watergate scandal because Nixon's a Republican and they're supposed to be good for the country.
My favorite LoL moment so far is I was playing Morde and a 3v3 happened. The other team narrowly escapes (or so they think) except for one thing... I put my Ult on Trist. 4 seconds later she dies and a ghost form of her spawns. I kill the other two and the other team is screaming WTF.

The who-what-now? Since when? It's not excusing anything. :?
Normally I have much respect for people with a degree in any field of science, but I hate Michio Kaku.
I don't know why, but he is terrible.
Because he's looney, smug, and spouts made-up bullshit?
Him and Aubrey de Grey can get on the crazy rocket straight to the crazy planet orbiting crazygeuse.
That is exactly it.
He is somewhat tolerable when he is reiterating everything that is said in The Universe, but I just want to punch him in the face when I watch Sci-fi Science.

In Birmingham they love the governor
Now we all did what we could do Now Watergate does not bother me
Does your conscience bother you?
Tell the truth
I mean, I don't know how else I'm supposed to interpret that. But given the correspondence of it being about the South - well.
sorry passer, but i really do not like that song :P
Well if you don't like Lynyrd Skynyrd or Doobie Brothers, then I can understand you not liking it.
No, they are fine.
The Kid Rock song is basically a revisit of Sweet Home Alabama. What's your issue with it?
It's like when someone does a cover of Whole Lotta Love.
It's not that there's anything inherently wrong with the song. I may even like the source material! But I can't get into it. Not in the way my pop-country loving friends can.
Also, Kid Rock.

The whole song is a response to Neil Young singing shit about the South. All Southerners shouldn't be made to feel guilty about Watergate because of Nixon, thus it doesn't bother the singer because he's not responsible for it.

Ah, you just don't like pop-country. I don't think that particular one sounds poppy at all, but ok.
