CUZ THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE MIDDLE AND IT'S GIVING ME A RASH
His response?
Oh well!
Besides, Neon Bible is shit.
Lightning Bolt would be really fucking awesome, though.
CUZ THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE MIDDLE AND IT'S GIVING ME A RASH
Yeah, I know for a fact they probably wouldn't.... but it would be awesome. I still listen to The Funeral almost on a daily basis.
I'm not one to lime for truth, but this is an extremely true statement.
I think that email was just a fan email to him trying to get him to come. :P
Although if the OP is in charge of pitchfork I would like to give him a high five.
Well I mean clearly anyone with the pull to be able to get all of those bands to come to his three day music festival obviously has nothing better to do than chat about it here.
CUZ THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE MIDDLE AND IT'S GIVING ME A RASH
Yeah, the e-mail made me wonder. But apparently not so nevermind.
If someone who can book a three day music festival with Sonic Youth, Cat Power and Of Montreal on the bill wants to post about it here, I'm perfectly fucking cool with that.
CUZ THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE MIDDLE AND IT'S GIVING ME A RASH
I'll let them know if I run into any.
...I think I need to think about this.
CUZ THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE MIDDLE AND IT'S GIVING ME A RASH
The new Panda Bear album is amazing, so I wouldn't be surprised seeing Panda Bear or Animal Collective show up. I would, however, be in awe.
BUT Junior Boys are rumored to play which is all kinds of exciting- So This Is Goodbye is fucking fantastic.
I'd ask him for a job :P
I would be going to this, if I didn't have to save money to live in NYC.
But seriously, I jizz all over the place every time I see that line up.
God
Spiderland.
My God.
Then again, the average listener is kinda screwed, you need what, 6 months to "get" Spiderland.
mmm...*puts vinyl in player.*
CROSSING MY FINGERS FOR FROG EYES
We're probably going to get couple of announcements that announce a handful of bands each.
Ohhhhh fuck oh fuck oh fuck. I need to go.
Man, I don't even know what to think. It could be really, really incredibly live or it could be a total letdown.
Listening to a live bootleg of Slint playing, the only issues was the fact that the vocals were down in the shoddy recording. And that's just a shoddy recording. They have energy, and they're like a swiss watch.
Apart from that, it's mother fucking slint, mother fucking live, mother fucking spiderland.
Stopping at the top then.
Starting down.
The girl grabbed my hand.
I clutched it tight.
I said goodbye to the ground.
I can never remember Andrew Bird's name. I've never heard his music, but at least a dozen of my tangential Wikipedia sprees in the past few weeks have led to his article.
I guess I should give him a listen.

Festival looks really good.
