If you can provide me any evidence of any USA people ever having a steam game that came from an EU source banned I will happily agree with you.
But also bear in mind that I had no idea what the source of the keys was when I posted it anyway, they could have been retail keys, promo keys from the publishers, or keys supplied by some other distributor (which is, it turns out, what they were). All I knew was that the retailer is reputable and reliable.
Well, if you don't know where the serials are coming from, you can't really know that the retailer is "reputable and reliable", can you?
For all you know they're selling Asian keys that circumvent the law you mentioned since they weren't bought from a country in the EU, meaning they could very well be banned. Or maybe they're keygen'd, or stolen, or any number of things.
Unless you think that a company selling keys for a high profile $50 game that's been out for exactly one month for less than the cost of a hamburger is "legit", than rock and roll duder.
Also, thanks for not only linking to your own website, but using a referral link to the site selling the keys as well. I'm still trying to figure out why the mods let you get away with so much bullshit.

Because of my aforementioned older computer, I can't run Batman AA. Is there an older game with a similar play style on the PC? Every once in a while I want to play an action beat-em-up (Or whatever genre you'd call it), and this is one of those times.
What are your specs?
AMD 3700, 2GB RAM and a Geforce 9600.
It can run Source engine games fine, basically, but starts to struggle with engines later than that.
Edit: I should point out that I'm not particularly infatuated with Devil May Cry.
Y'know, the system requirements on Steam list a SM3 NVidia 6600 card, which is quite a bit older than your Geforce 9600, isn't it? You might want to grab the demo, crank the graphics settings down a bit, and see how it runs.
The 9600 is the newest component in the tower, since I had to upgrade my old graphics card when it started - It's the processor that I'm more worried about. Perhaps I'll try the demo, though.
Also, Lewie, curse you for posting this deal at 3:30am so that everyone ELSE gets to buy Civ 5 for so cheap. Some of us sleep! But I've ordered it, and hopefully they'll honour the order.

They sell MW2 and the new AvP as downloads, so it can't have been the first time they've provided Steam keys.
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic doesn't get anywhere near the love it deserves. It has the best first person hand to hand combat of any game I've ever played. Kicking orcs into spikes and off ledges is pure gaming nirvana.
I would consider Zeno Clash to be the superior first person melee game, but Dark Messiah is definitely the best that has swords in it. And magic. And hybrid RPG mechanics. And greatness such that everyone should play it at least once.
I'm just so damn disappointed that Dark Messiah will never get a sequel since it's one of my favourite games. Hell, if the Might and Magic line would have gone down this route I wouldn't have been disappointed. I can only hope that Bethsofts combat code monkeys had a look on this game once it's time for them to produce another Elder Scrolls game.

The Civ 5 thing failed for me too - despite listing it in my purchases, accessing the page with my serial produces a "no serials found" message and a direct download just links to their catalogue index page. They are indeed a legit company, although almost certainly play around with importing to get good prices - my suspiciously cheap retail copy of Mirror's Edge a year ago apparently came from the Russian heartland.

Also, they've had Assassin's Creed 2 and Just Cause 2 for 9,95 for a few weeks now, but I'm not entirely sure about picking them up because CDon's downloader (also known as right click, save as) is kind of poop.
I had never heard of Project Freedom before yesterday, when I discovered it while browsing the "Less than £4" section on Steam. I bought it, downloaded it, and have played through half of it so far.
It's the Whipped Cream of Space Sims because it's light, frothy, and sweet.
It's not particularly amazing: The music is repetitive, the voice acting is terrible, and it doesn't do anything you wouldn't expect.
But! It's short, good-looking and very simple (Controls are almost entirely mouse-based). There's also a picture-in-picture feature that shows you where your missiles are going, which is totally rockin'™.
My point is, if you like space sims and like whipped cream, you'll probably like Project Freedom.

Alright let me clarify. It's a mix of openness and exploration from metroid with detective sequences, beat-em-ups, and splinter cell-esque stealth moments where you have to take down a group of thugs. The graphics are great if your computer can run it and many people in this thread have stated they have bought the game multiple times and one hundred percented it on multiple machines because it is that good.
In short, you play as the goddamn batman. Go get it.
I'm looking for a relatively cheap strategy/tactics game that has good depth. Suggestions?
The three good suggestions have already been made, but to sum it up:
Men of War if you want multiplayer, and/or RTS
X-COM if you want squad level tactics
King's Bounty if you want hex-based strategy RPG
And we can suggest more stuff I suppose but those are 3 of the best games ever made so they're a good starting point. My YouTube channel is chock full of multiplayer Men of War videos, but if you're interested in single player it's pretty sweet too (but coop is 50x better).

Eh, it's so cheap that if I wanted it, I'd probably just buy it myself. But since I'm not really interested, entering the competition would be a bit pointless anyway.
Besides, I've got far too much other stuff that I haven't played / completed yet, and just now Lewie gave me a copy of Borderlands.
These days the biggest barrier to me buying new titles isn't really the money, it's my freaking back catalogue and a lack of time.
