    Supposedly you can make it run better if you run it windowed at 800x600, then maximise the window. It'll up the resolution properly, but leave the reflections and shadows at the windowed quality, making the game a lot more playable.

    The atmosphere is so good sometimes though, especially at night, when you can't see and there are enemies everywhere, and the lightning kicks up. It's really quite earie.

    Offline mode is your only option.

    Offline mode is fairly hit or miss for some people, though.
