I couldn't really make it through all of the video, but if the Mega64 guys are reading this, here are some ideas you guys could work with:
Most importantly, add more jokes! I understand what you guys were trying to do here, but it just didn't work. You were using the same joke over and over and honestly? It became too predictable to hold my attention.

This is more of an addendum to the first point, but you might want to look into the possibility of making more sketches per video. This will give you a lot of room for more jokes since there would be more than just one scenario.

I think your second point would have actually made it worse. Also, I don't think the Mega64 guys read this forum. I could be wrong though.

And every one of them will watch it and complain again about how hard it is to be moderately entertained for five minutes at a stretch.
The complaints aren't about how hard it is. In fact, it's quite the opposite. It's easy to be mildly entertained, or at least not bored to tears, for 5 minutes. The complaints are coming when something so consistently fails to accomplish that.
It had elements where I was like "Yeah, Okay, I see where you're going with this"
and then some elements where I was more like "Stooooooooooooop iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit"
Mixed together it comes out to "pretty okay".
I fell pretty heavily on the 'stop it' side
And I mean there are lots of pop songs I like (Britney is my secret joy), this one just really grated on me for whatever reason. Interesting video though!
