Even though I don't think we're going to be going with a rented server at this point (NaS is awesome), I'll try to narrow things down to 2-3 good choices JUST IN CASE.
You know, I still haven't gone to the Nether, partly because I haven't finished my railroad from spawn, and partly because it would require going back down into the caves. Ughahgu.
The fun part is going to be tonight when I try to leave the server running while also writing and debugging code
And maybe playing TF2
The more fun part is hey0 hasn't been updated yet (some random did post a "fix", but refused to release the code for a diff, just seems suspicious). :P

i've found untold wealth and new caverns to explore (i even found a zombie spawner!) but can someone pm me the new server just so i can be ready to jump in when it's ready?

Commercial server hosting, you can even upload your own map. $2.50 per player slot.
I don't know if it lets you do server side mods. But that might be an option.

This, except I am watching my just delivered PATV DVD.
Just need to get a ridiculous amount of coal and make a ridiculous amount of glass for the tunnel so it's pretty.
Maybe the outpost will be made of wood, for a nice rustic feel.
Either way, walking along that torchlit cobblestone path isn't nearly as cool as a tunnel and outpost.
Especially at night if I die again. Then it's stupid.
