I've just been messing around with WorldEdit on my personal server. I've kinda wrecked the terrain with //move and //expand haha. Floating islands EVERYWHERE.

Hi guys. I would like to play on a server with some of you, if that is at all possible. I'm pretty new to this, though.
WOOOO stairs no longer have that stupid snapping to the blocks around it effect!
And in a recent, subsequent update, they are easier to break apparently. I'm glad for this, as stairs, when used properly, are super stylish, and I intend to use them a lot on my next big project.
I already have a project planned after the pagoda, but while it won't be very tall, I'm afraid it will take many much space that I wouldn't want to take from other people. Of course, a great man once said, ""It wasn't impossible to build rapture at the bottom of the sea, it was impossible to build it anywhere else."
(The project isn't Rapture, that's been done. I'm a weeaboo, so it'll be something between India and Hawaii.)
So this is the usual situation at camp alpha. Every. Morning.
Yes, that is 4 creepers. There is one above me too.
Right after I took that picture I logged off for the night. When I started it back up somehow one of those creepers was standing right in front of me! Inside my base! That one blew up, and then the one who was right above me fell through the floor and I was dead. Creepers can mess stuff up, but nothing is worse than your main chest and crafting area gets asploded. I think "Simulating the world for a bit" really means "Finding some Creepers, showing them a picture of your nice glass house."
Because I was sick of getting exploded every time I need to step out for some more logs, I decided to build full glass walls and ceilings near the exit of my main fort, that way I could see who was waiting outside. Of course that means that it gets exploded sometimes, which means harvesting sand, which means going outside with the creepers...and so on.
I think it may be time for a lava moat. With cacti. That are on fire.
Here's what you do. Get fire. I don't care how you get it, just get it. Now, freeze that fire. Shape the fire ice into sharp spikes, so that when your enemies touch it, they are pierced, frozen and burned all at the same time. Now, soak that icefire spike in oil, and set that on fire as well. Now it has double burn with freeze+burn and stab.

alternatively, build on a hill
level the hilltop
then at your floor level, walk around and destroy every block you can reach while still standing on your floor
then build a "fence" a single block high around the entire flattened hilltop
Now there are a bunch of monsters in Ft. Kickass because I opened up one of those massive spaces underneath and there are things there, so I need to clear that out and mine it out. And make it into a nice pretty square.
block respawn bug: you have about a 50% chance of actually breaking a block, otherwise it just respawns! NEW FEATURE
new chunks don't load while you're in a cart, and if you hit the edge of your local neighborhood in a cart your client crashes, and you get a clone of yourself there to greet you when you log on!
minecarts and boats can't be destroyed except by driving/piloting them into lava.
I don't know about anyone else, but my model keeps disappearing, I'm invisible on my screen 90% of the time (when in 3rd person mode).
more to come...

You sure the respawn bug isn't just lag? Because that happens to me all the time on laggy servers.

It seems to be a very isolated, specific lag, but the reports are coming in from a lot of servers so it's not localized to any one machine/connection/player count.
Edit: It's lag in that one specific area of communications between the client and the server, and it is definitely something introduced with this patch. Nuka and I had just about instantaneous everything else, but breaking blocks was random.
Edit2: Sorry I did some ninja editing. I wasn't very clear before.

That would be great! Unfortunately we're having some server issues at the moment. We should be up and running on Friday though :P
NO ONE EXPECTS THE SPANISH INQUISITION! Oh bugger.

I discovered this when I made base with a natural cave in front of my door. imagine my glee when i'm all
THEY CANT GET ME

nothing can get in
Right at the front door of the interior walls.

yeah, hilltop fortresses are, by far, the most safe
Twitch (I stream most days of the week)
Twitter (mean leftist discourse)
No love for me? =(
you can drop sand on them and they will suffocaaaaate . . .
TAKE THAT YOU FRIGGIN CREEPERS!! MWAHAHAHAAA *gack*
It's probably a bad idea to piss off your neighbor who tends to build castle mazes.
I think I got a socket exception error trying to log into your server NaS.
There's nothing important in my inventory though.
All I see is blue fading to black.
It's Captain Aspergers!
Dear satan I wish for this or maybe some of this....oh and I'm a medium or a large.

Also, apparently you can't destroy minecarts!
You would have seen in that picture above but for some reason my minecart switched directions, and my player model vanished....
okay, who wants to ruin minecraft for themselves:
the fucking stone pick, mining coal (and probably other combos) happens to work out to the exact beat timing of the chorus
closed the game in disgust, time to drink 'til i unhear it
Darn, same thing happened to me for my skin.

also i don't know how to make widgets work in post or sig.
The mockery doesn't really seem necessary.
Get back to me when someone's building a computer in the instance of Minecraft they have running on the computer they built in Minecratft...
