League of Legends is a DoTA (Defense of the Ancients) style game made by some of the people that worked on DoTA Allstars. It's free to play; but, includes augmentations that you can buy with real money or in-game points.

There's a ton of info on the game, and I don't want to reinvent the wheel. So, check out:
leagueoflegends.com, the game database provided by Riot (who make the game).
leaguecraft.com, there are a lot of fan sites out there with general information and builds. This is just one; and, it's kinda slow as shit. Regardless of where you look for builds keep in mind, most of them make assumptions that are not clearly conveyed and there are a lot that are just plain bad. Tread lightly.
KillerCodeMonkey's wiki, add your brilliant shit to it.
Game mechanic shit, stuff like how attacks and magic and fuck work.

That Rammus in my game just had no idea when fighting was not such a good idea, it was rather sad.

Also, it was actually a 3v4 at one point 'cause MF was idling in fountain for a few minutes for some unknown reason.

I was just doing some rough estimates in my head, is madreds really worth it for the price for trist? The speed doesn't help her, the armor shouldn't either, and 4 percent of 3000 is 120 minus resists makes it maybe 90? Not too sure on that, anyways it adds the 90 damage plus the 35 but it delays your IE that long and the items to assemble it really aren't good on Trist.

I need to look at items prices but wouldn't it be better just to go IE/black cleaver or whisper?

You're probably discounting the speed a little too much. I don't think she hits cap with just her steroid...? It still helps a little, and just in general when her skill is down.

she doesn't really need much in the way of attack speed considering it is 90% aspeed on her Q, maybe one item that has a recurve bow in it's build and then more bf swooooooooords

90 magic damage is more than what you would be getting out of IE or Black Cleaver.

Madred's is defintiely worth it on her, if you are fighting people who are good to use Madred's against. My average endgame HP as Vlad is 4K, and I'm not the tank. By building a MAdred's, it divides her damage into two types which helps attack weak defenses and strongly mitigates Thornmail.

It's sort of an edge case, but it is possible under a worst case scenario to beat Trist by walking up to her and going AFK if all she does is physical damage with no defenses or life leech. Now, that's worst case, but toverall, Armor items are better than MR items against non-mages.

On another note, It also speeds Baron up considerably. I wouldn't recommend Madred's as a staple item on Trist, but it definitely has a place on almost any auto attack champ under the right circumstances.

I just had one of those tank games on Shen where they all focus you (god knows why) and you die a lot but your team wins every teamfight, because of you. 0/5/23 is a beautiful score in a forty minute game.
