Every time I try to play a Vanguard, something goes wrong. I get stuck on the level geometry or I die a bunch or something happens that sends me running back to Adept. What the hell is wrong with me?
You need to l2p.
Actually, getting stuck in the level geometry is going to be a periodic thing that occurs regardless of class. And dying is part of the vanguard experience. At least until you figure out how to play the class right (which involves charging loads, having a level of situational awareness that you don't need with the other classes, and lots of punching people in the face).
Yeah, you just have to deal with the geometry problems. And save often. Since unlike ME1, you can't use the console to dislodge yourself
Charge is a love-hate relationship. You love it when it works, you depise it when it doesn't. Not really the skill's fault, it's all those damn ramps and boxes.

If someone creates a miracle foolproof medicine that is a cure for the common cold, cancer and loneliness but it has the minor side effects of explosive diarrhea, uncontrollable bleeding from the eyes and murder-fugues, that's not a total 'resounding' success.
I know you were all making fun, but I would really love an Alpha Protocol sequel with perhaps a wee bit more polish to iron out the weird bugs.
It does so many wonderful things that the usual hurf durf popular shooter #5 will never do.
Actually, I'd take a spiritual sequel too, I'm not locked into the Alpha Protocol universe. It could be "Mass Effect Protocol, the continuing adventures of super spy Garrus" for all I care. But there were just so many good ideas in that game that need to survive it's unfortunate demise.
