Game of Thrones is an upcoming American medieval fantasy television series created by David Benioff and Dan Weiss for HBO. The series, based on author George R. R. Martin's best-selling A Song of Ice and Fire series of novels, chronicles the violent dynastic struggles among noble families for control of the Iron Throne of Westeros.[1] HBO programming chief Michael Lombardo has stated that the series will likely debut in Spring 2011

There's a bunch more major characters but these were the best pics. Eddard's wife Catelyn, and their kids are all also major players, really there's too many characters to list.

    Well there's one that I know 100% would get you to watch it but it's from the 3rd book and is kind of a semi-big spoiler.

    Let me see if I can think of another that would be less drastic, but I'll use that one if I need to.

    Me too! I have all the others with the (in my opinion) nicer British cover designs; but I do have an abiding fondness for my worn copy of AGoT with that cover. I bought it second hand about two or three years ago, and I must have read it ten times since then. The pages turn so easily and flip open to my favourite parts with little or no effort.

    all the kids were made a few years older.

    Robb, Jon, and Dany are all in the 17 range now rather than ~14

    the younger kids were aged up similarly
