I played it back in the early 90's. You rolled dice (I think) to move spaces on winding paths around the board. There were hazards. one was a snake pit. I think every hazard had a card? There were definitely cards...not just for hazards. Anyway, this was a more serious board game, I guess. Not something like Sorry! or Guess Who?
Man, I don't remember much about this, but I played with with my friend and his dad. It was a lot of fun. Any ideas, H/A?

Snake pit doesn't seem familiar, but it was it possibly Talisman?
It's gone through several editions, and it uses cards, cards and more cards.

I got it for a birthday somewhere in the 90s and still have it somewhere.
YES! That's it! Ahh, memories. I played this when I was still learning the ways of the NES and had no tabletop experience. Good times. : ) Thanks everyone.

Argh. Beated. Key to the Kingdom has cards for hazards where you have to have different equipment cards to beat them. I forget the specifics.

I wonder if my parents still have it in a cabinet somewhere
I got it as a gift when I was a kid and every time I try to bust this out and get a game going people would just laugh at me.
