That's like Batman wearing a cape.
It makes no fucking sense that someone relying on speed and agility would have something easily grabbed and can snag on shit.

But with Batman it's different. Depending on the story / writer, Batman has successfully used his cape for offensive and defensive purposes.

Hmm... Outsiders are all over those solicits.

Also, can Batman beat Lobo if he has time to prepare?

Why is Batman taking over the Outsiders again?

It makes me want to read the book

Is Winick still doing the monthly?

That won't be revealed until issue #49 in July, which is the last issue of the Outsiders / Checkmate crossover. And yes, Winick is still the regular writer. Though Im sure the scenario will be something like "Man, you guys really fucked up this team. I mean c'mon Nightwing, you're better than this, even if Judd Winick is writing you...and the other hack is drawing you."

Yeah, if that's butch then I'm kinda curious what's "feminine".

    Green Arrow is getting canceled.

Also, so people will say "Batman is running the Outsiders? Now I will but Outsiders because I am a Batman fan."

Feh... I've been collecting it since the Braniac arc... I feel like Charlie Brown running up to kick the football every time I buy an issue.

Which is why I went from "Nightwing rocks!" To "fuck Nightwing. I wish he was dead."

I will be so pissed off. Also, Sword of the Atom trade? Fuck yes.

However, Showcasing Captain Carrot and the Amazing Furry Faggots instead of Suicide Squad, JLI/JLE, Question, Booster Gold, Captain Atom, or any one of a thousand other great, relevant serieses instead is ridiculous. Oh, and in the Checkmate solicit, is that dude the multi-armed Hitler demon from the first few issues of Hitman? Because it sure looks like it.

Of course, according to this, it'll be in black-and-white. And no Oz/Wonderland War. :x

I love the Dr. Thirteen homage to the Superfriends. Nazi gorilla as Marvin :^::^:

August looks like an incredible month for DC. Which is reassuring, since nothing really popped out in the June and July solicits.
