Hey Asher, when you ordered from Forgeworld, did you get any shipping details? Viewing my order on the site, it says it's fully shipped, but there's no listed delivery company or tracking reference. Obviously the delivery company is UPS, but a tracking reference would be nice for $500 worth of models.

IIRC, if you have significant damage, they'll express post the replacement part. But hey, if it's something you can fix with green stuff and are comfortable doing it, there's not much point unless you want another torso (or whatever part has the chip). Personally I'd do it and turn the damaged part into terrain.

So... I was talking to my brother and to further flesh out my chapter, I'd like to split my current 10-man Terminator squad into 2 5-man squads. And I'd like to get a 5-man Assault Terminator squad for my Land Raider Crusader to use.
Anybody got a spare Termie Sargent arm they're not planning on using?
Actually... can someone give me the point breakdown for a termie squad? My codex is at my brother's.
Currently it's 10 guys; 1 Sargent, 1 flamer, 1 Assault cannon, and between 2-4 chainfists (cant remember exactly). Is it possible to split this evenly into 2 5-man teams or would I have to take out the heavy weapons?

In a five-man termie squad you may have either an assault cannon or a heavy flamer. So it shouldn't be any problem to split them up into 5-man squads.
Isn't 'Journalism major' just code for 'I dunno what I want to do when I grow up'? :P

@Nocren 2 heavy weapons in a 10 man squad is fine. You can combat squad it however you like too, with both weapons in one combat squad, one in each, whatever. Also assuming you have 4 chainfists it's 455 points

Admittedly, I'm more partial towards the Rogue Trader game from a purely roleplaying standpoint, but Deathwatch is pretty darn basa$$ and one of the better tactical RPGs I've seen in a while. In the game I'm in, a Tactical Marine managed to liquefy a Genestealer and half a horde of Termagaunts with a single sustained burst from a Stormbolter in the first two seconds of combat. The GM shed a few tears over that.

Having had a bit of a read through of the Deathwatch rules I'm not really that excited about it at all.
Not that I think it's a bad RPG at all, but rather that, based on my admittedly superficial reading, it came of as just another bug hunt. I can't see my gaming group wanting to play it at all. Despite most of them not knowing anything about 40k they loved Dark Heresy because Call of Cthulhu in Spaaaaaace and Rogue Trader was a huge success because everyone loves being space Pirates. Deathwatch by contrast seems to be pretty much a straight dungeon bash, but with power armour and Bolters. That may be enough to carry it for a 40k fan, but it doesn't hold the same appeal for non warhammerites.
