Here's the sitch: Some friends and I are starting a blog together, nothing to fancy just ramblings on nerd stuff (www.wahzd.com if you want to see what I've got so far.) I need to implement two new features before we 'go live', as it were.

Feature 1: An archive/blog page that pulls all articles from a section except the ones published in the current week or the latest four or five articles.

Feature 2: A 'news ticker' that pulls from a Twitter account(s).

Any ideas on modules/components or maybe some round about ways to implement these would be greatly appreciated.
