I'm no expert on perspektive, but I'd say that as it looks now, the PoV is from behind the guy who's supposed to lay on the ground, but he's actually standing up and the PoV is looking down a bit. If you'd like the perspektive to seem as though the PoV is from the ground up, you will need a low horizontal line.
I can't see what would make one think that the guy to the left is lying/laying (I hate those words) on the ground?
XAL, I don't know the specifics (it was a gift), but the paper's really thick, doesn't bleed with ink at all, has a nice texture to it as well. I haven't tried watercolor yet, but I think it'll work out fine too. Sorry I can't be more specific.
On a compleatly unrelated note, heres a sketch for a locust page I figured was worthy of doodle status. This one actually has some half decent expressions and actions.
Plus who doesnt love stupid girltalk?
I scribbled this today, and sort of like it, compositionally. I wouldn't mind finishing it but something looks fundamentally fucked (I mean besides scribbliness and lack of shadow); one of you can probably spot it instantly and save me hours of polishing a turd.
I like it, I didn't even care about shadows and scribbles, FINISH HIM!
Bog, your comic is pretty cool, so I tried my hand at that thing you were asking about.
It's a completely different style from yours, but everything can be adapted. I'm just not really good at that extremely stylised style you have going (not that it's a bad style, I'm just bad at it). I hope you can see from this very rough sketch the perspective and idea I was going for.
Also, the speech bubble in this picture appears to be strong arming the rest of the scene.
Heh... I just threw it on there at the last minute. My train of thought was something along the lines of: "Hmm... This thing is kind of boring... Okay, on goes the eye-patch." 'Spose I probably should've checked a reference before I threw it in there.
@Iruka: You've created very impressive images in the past, but that's just beautiful! I think there might be something weird going on with the wolf/bear's shoulder though.
(And BTW, whatever happened to that image progress record thing I asked for a while back? )

Thanks! And, I told bog I would do a video on color picking, I still plan to do it. I found some freeware stuff to put the audio and video together, so I'll see if it works...
I know the focus is supposed to be on the character, but the smattering of buildings in the background doesn't really give and impression of a city (assuming that was your intention). It'd be a vast improvement to the composition if the buildings stretched all the way to the edges of the frame.
The character design itself is pretty neat though, I like the sports equipment/roller-blades thing you've got going. It'd be cool to see some action shots of some half-pipe based zombie decapitations. :P

I tried abstract art. I don't think I did anything of much value.

Sometimes "nekkid wimmin" need to be drawn. Especially when it's blazing hot outside.
And a little update on this thing.
I feel weird about this one. What do you people think?
Also, BOTP: That second one is really going places.
theme was "slimy cliff jumpers"

Beav: that.. scares me.
mayday: I really like the guy and girl in the middle. Though, I think her head might just be a little large.
lawls, I didnt finish this/
well continuing my Aphrodesiac project in class, here is Venus/Aphrodite
/yeesh, still pretty rough
Beav: long time no see. You gonna color that?
Wakka: That's a lot sharper than usual. I like it alot.
GN: Not bad, good start. I kinda like the coloring. The pelvis area (specifically where you can see her crotch) is a little odd. But not too bad.
And here's my CHOW 72. Zombie Apocalypse Scavenger.
