What's it under? I scoured the bindings and didn't see it.

My install failed because I disconnected from the net while it was doing its thing; apparently when it hangs on files to install, it opts to download them and because it couldn't, it canceled the whole process, rather than prompt me to get the internet going. God. Damn. It.
Before the technician uses both hands to switch it on, he says,

I pre-ordered Cataclysm, but never expected to be able to play as soon as it went live. Did anyone honestly believe that it was going to go smoothly? This is World of Warcraft. There's always a titanic fuck-up at the eleventh hour.

Blizzard kinda fucked it up. Now they have every person in four time zones trying to log in, instead of having people in different time zones logging in at different times.

I logged out before the announcement, thinking I'd log back in before the rush. Got in but the switch wasn't flipped yet. Now the login server blew up as expected.
It's almost as if the demand continues to grow. Stop being a [silly goose].
Also I'm leaving my install running while I catch some sleep, and leaving the net on for it to do whatever it needs when the disc fails to read a file.
Does anyone know how much the Old World flying will cost?

Yea, the Azeroth Flight license wasn't on the trainers until they flipped Cata on. Artisan/Master flying are the ones that cost 5000g(minus rep discounts).

I'm actually kind of surprised, in the sense that I remember so many stories of expansions going smoothly. Then again, having everything switch on at 12:01 PST instead of gating is pretty horrible

We are 6 years into wow and this still happens.
I was in the queue for a half hour, tried to time it so I'd get in after they 'flicked the switch'.
Logged in 5 minutes past, Cata wasn't up yet. Not a minute later, a system message says Cata is up, and to relog.
