    Well, Orph and I hit 84 yesterday, but my grandparents are coming today to visit for a while. I'm not sure how much we're going to be able to play for the next few days.

    They are basically waiting for their trailer to be repaired in Amarillo, and it may take up to a fucking week. I really hope it doesn't. Once it gets fixed, they'll be back on their way to Arizona and I'll have a week or two before I head up to MN for Christmas and New Years.

    That's amazing. However, I still like it better in plain text, because WoW's languages are not 1-to-1 translations. Millions of other phrases translate to that.

    Me too, which is a shame. I like to do instances when the context is fresh in my mind.

    I will not do Cata instances with pugs.

    I've pugged only 2 instances. Throne of Tides and Grim Batol. Both were successes but I think I was lucky. I should really do guild groups more. But everyone is tank spec and I so love to tank 5 mans.

    Anyway, my advice, if you're a healer or tank spec, overlevel the normal instances to ensure success. I think I've AoE'd my way thru 5 mans with just one sap. Bosses tend to be quite nasty if you don't know what to expect.

    EDIT: Who thought it was a cool idea to make GoAK the big tanking cooldown? I would've KILLED for that skill at lv 82.

    Its hard to find any guild groups especially pre 85 since no one seems to want to do instances before then.

    So far I pugged BRC and TotT and both went perfectly fine. My first group for BRC booted me before a single pull because my hp was low, then my next group the priest said he was bored cause I was too easy to heal -_-. Go figure.

    Got raped something feirce a few times in TotT but we pulled through. Second boss dropped me hard when I didnt know that big hit was coming, but the warrior was 83 and level gives you SO MUCH health that he could tank easilly untill the boss was dead.

    I moved my DK over just to tank, but I want to get my priest up so I can heal since thats what I really want to do.

    I'm all for doing instances pre-85, but my play times are mostly in the mornings (which are evenings for me).

    Still, if you see me, hit me up - Suyasha, Jenjil, Yujamia or Feralia.

    I did the instances once each when I could while leveling. The quests gave good xp, but the mobs did not, generally.

    The best way to level is by questing a bunch.

    Is it possible to make a run at the Winter's Veil title at level 52ish? I am guessing I need to burn to 58 for Outland, but I can't remember if I can be ported to Dalaran at < 68.

    I'd like to have a crack at it on Becket. Moulin can go to hell! I have seen the Undead Light, and it is full of stars!

    If I remember correctly you have to go to a guy who is flying around in the airship above Icecrown.

    I don't remember if you can get summoned there or not.

    Pretty sure you can only get the hats by doing current content dungeons.

    Yeah I finally saw this last night. For 80 and 81 instances are nice and quick on your levels, but when I hit 82 I noticed a whole instance was like nothing of my bar.

    However, I still enjoy them and they are good fun, plus I want to know what these places are like before I do them on heroic.

    Also instancing makes that hitting 85 and needing gear a lot less painful. I am already ilvl 300 at 82.

    I remember farming scholomance et al at 70 for winter veil hats (I mostly remember this because at that time, seed of corruption could still go through walls. Hilarious.) I don't know if that's still possible, though.

    They never made the switch to level 70 dungeons, from what I recall. During wotlk sometime, they moved the hats to northrend dungeons.

    Specifically though, I was referring to this patch note: Corla will now always drop an item and the Red Winter Hat does not replace her regular loot drop. It's because she cares.

    The only cata dungeon that seems to give off a ton of xp is HoO (of the 4 or so I've done) and it's only the last bit with the 4 bosses around the sides, the mini fights before each one those mobs each gave me 8k xp a kill and they don't take that long, but overall the dungeon took forever to crawl through so it didn't really make up for it.

    Also woo I can do the rated BG's this friday practice got moved.
