That minimalist art has too much detail to be minimalist.

And the drug war is still dumb.

But when you combine it with Kripke, it's pretty devastating, in my opinion. For instance, is "the number of planets" necessarily analytic or synthetic?

"There are nine planets" is synthetic.

And rigid designation + naming and necessity generally are boondoggles.

"There are nine planets" isn't even true

Afghanistan is a major exporter of opium, especially to Europe.

In the year before the invasion, production had been cut by ~90%.

Post-invasion, they are producing more than ever before!

That would be excellent. The only problem is that, as the largest producer of illicit opium, Afghanistan lacks the infrastructure to turn the industry legal, and laws are still pretty much unenforceable across most of the country.

Alright, let's start with this: +
This is a plus sign. It combines two values into one greater or lesser value. From this, it is trivial to derive the properties of countably infinite sets. So, let's move on to Cantor Sets...

I knew that, unlike a PC, I wouldn't be able to connect one computer to another and transfer over my documents.

Unlike a PC, the Mac wouldn't let me move files to and from my external drive ... Even moving over my iTunes playlist, I soon learned, was going to take intricate coding tweaks.

So I guess there's an artist/modeler at Blizzard that has a thing for centaur body-types. Because you have, well, the centaurs of course. But then you have the Blue Dragon Flight, and now the cat people in Uldum.

I bet there are other examples.

I imagine this guy maybe hears a writer's idea and is like "Oh cool, a race of Egyptian cat people that's cool but lets give them a horse body."
