Hrm... you ask about going or putting together guild heroic runs and you get tell in a whisper that you're 'an annoying little shit' and if I kept talking in guild chat I'd be gkicked. What happened to the Beasts? This is my first beginning of an expansion to play with you guys, but is this what things turn into? Welp. :P

I just need to point out that Beasts are awesome. Helping a scrub like me with group quests while leveling up my DK, and going and offing all the alliance leaders while doing the summer festival achievements (an achievement I still never finished on my main guy). Beasts are definitely full of awesome.

So, one person allegedly being a dick, and your previous comments are thrown to the wind?

Well, more that I was surprised as I had a blast at the end of the last expansion with you all (hadn't been with the beasts before then). Just a stark difference that a new expansion can bring I guess. I'll be quiet now (or kick me out like was threatened /shrug).

Well damn, stand up for yourself as well.

If someone was being a dick, then tell an officer in game, or maybe a private message here.

We have a strict "don't be a dick" rule after all.

Who was it that did this? I didn't think we had any officers that would do this kind of thing.

Well, I don't have any specifics. Either someone really was being a dick, which is unfortunate and abhorrent, or Kass is overreacting to something, which is equally unfortunate. It might be a little of both--we can be a bit incorrigible at times, but we try to never take it too far.

Regardless, this is a good time to reiterate that if there is an issue that needs to be addressed, take it up with the officers. Remember that text-based communication is the worst form of communication, since there's no cadence or subtlety to express intent. If there's a problem, we can work it out without resorting to butthurt feelings and huffy storming-offs.

Also remember: If someone is harassing you, take screenshots! It is good to have solid evidence when things like this go down. The officers don't want to have to rely on hearsay to solve these issues.

Look we can't ALL have puppies to ruin pugs for us.

Interestingly, Kass has stopped us in two heroics for his puppy.

I wouldn't have believed that a puppy could cause so many problems. However, having had one now for a few months, I totally understand the power they have to ruin (or at least delay and be extremely annoying) runs.

Look at that guy... ruining dungeon runs since... erm... early this week.

Cats and dogs can't hold a candle to toddlers. "I HAVE TO PEE PEE!" fifteen seconds before the end of an escort quest. Even after their bed times there's a pretty good chance they'll wake up and be all, "I NEED SOMETHING OR OTHER! IT IS IMPORTANT! I PROMISE!"

I'm not saying I don't like having kids, or MMOs are more important than kids. Toddlers just aren't conducive to multiplayer content, and they haven't been sleeping well, which means even if I play at midnight I'm not guaranteed to have enough time to run an instance without interruption. Plus everything is extremely urgent to a toddler. While most people realize they are going to need to pee some time in the next half hour, a toddler will realize this but ignore it up to the point where they will pee all over themselves in about ten seconds.

Solution - don't do escort quests.

I will succumb to this fate in 6 months, but I somewhat welcome the opportunity to raise a child.
that will one day level my character for me

    Diapers until college, then.

Your escort quest is a higher priority than your child's mental health.

I didn't say that I didn't help them immediately. I was just saying how it is. The all caps was indicating that the child is screaming at me. And when I said they scream "I need something or other" it isn't that he's trapped or hurt, but rather that he can't find his car which is actually two inches from his hand.
