Why, I put an ad only six posts up that says the release date...

Anyhoo, I want to apologize for taking so long to get this page done. I've been working hard on my other comic (which comes out June 13, by the way, hint hint), but page 20 is very nearly finished and I'll probably be putting it up tomorrow.

You should make an ad up and put it in your signature, man. Need to get the word out, particularly for dumb fuck demographic who can't read a post, but can look at a fancy picture.

You know, that looks like a pretty snazzy airplane. I'd like to fly in one just like that.
Except, you know... minus the zombie threat.

It's an Airbus A380. I don't know if they're commercially available to fly in yet, but someday soon you might actually be able to ride in one. And the zombies just make it more fun.

THese were my thoughts after reading the latest comic: "Jeez... look at those stairs. How swanky. I'd like to take a trip somewhere. A trip on that airplane. I'd like to take a trip from one side of that airplane to the other."

I've made another entry in my "things to do before I die" list.

Jawesome. The red text juxtaposed with the dark grey clouds on the ad is a bit hard on the eyes, though. Perhaps some kind of intermediary, like a white outline?

Need some advice pretty quick. Okay, this is the new page. Matheson has a line of dialogue in the last panel where he says "Don't go back in there," but looking at this I think it might be unnecessary. Thoughts?

i've been trying to beef up my digital coloring skills, so i was coloring some of these pages, and my f'ing ferret shut my comp off just as i was gonna save!

dammit, they weren't bad either, figured you might get a kick out of seeing it in color.

oh well, maybe i'll do it again and save before ifrit starts playing with power strips.

more importantly than that sucking is the fact that i'd like to see pics of your ferret so we can compare who has the cuter ferrets (i guarantee you my friend... it is not you)

I pictured a ferret laughing maniacally and yanking the cord out of the wall, and I laughed. Sorry.

That's cool, though, I'd love to see these pages in color. Please feel free to redo them if you want.

Hmm... you should reworks that blood in the last frame. Right now, it doesn't look like there'S blood splattered everywhere against the window, it looks like it's a window colored in plain black so that we don't see the interior. Maybe reduce it a little on the third window from the left and on the second one from the right, and it should be more clear.

    Other than that, good job.

Hey May 30 has passed... is this available for sale yet?

I'm finishing up the last page, but everything else is done and ready to go. I'm having loads of problems getting a Paypal account to work, so I'm not sure how long it'll be, but right now I have it set up that if you want a copy, you can send a check or money order for $3.00 plus $2.00 shipping ($5.00 total US dollars) to me at:

    Flight of the Living Dead
    c/o Scott Ewen
    271 W. Blackwell St.
    Dover, NJ 07801

However, this is for US orders only currently. I'm going to have international stuff figured out soon.

It'll take about two weeks to get your comic if you order one now because I don't have them printed up yet, but once I have the copies here at my house, it should only take a couple days for people to get their comics after ordering.

And remember that $5 is the minimum. If you want to donate more money that than in order to insure I'm able to keep making this comic, by all means feel free. After I finish up page 24, I'm putting the comic on hiatus for a little while so I can finish up another project I'm working on, but it's entirely dependent on how many copies of the first issue I sell that determines if I'm able to keep doing this comic.

Scott, is there any goal in mind that you'd need to cover your comic for the near future? I'd really like to see you continue and maybe we could have a running tally to see how much more you need to raise?

I don't really have any set number of copies I'd like to sell, or amount of money I'd like to make... I'm printing 50 copies up front and if I sell out of them quickly and have to reprint, that's definitely a sign that I should keep doing it. If, however, I'm sitting on these copies for months and end up giving most of them away at the San Diego con, I probably won't keep this up.
