What I want is 2460 points from bioware but I doubt I will bring myself to buying it. That is Overloard, Shadowbroker, Leliana's Song and Witch Hunt.

I was in the weird position of considering buying dragon age ultimate for $25 when it was on sale. It would have been cheaper than buying all the DLC individually.

If I had more self control I would just wait a year till the GOTY editions come out for all the dlc in one bundle.

Darksiders is one of my favorite games of this last year. Its GoW and Zelda combined. The game is a lot of fun, the world was well developed and ends on one of the best moments in a game in a long time. Though really its a game that requires a gamepad and would do less on a keyboard and mouse in my opinion.

I don't see why you're being so stingy about this. It's really, really good content and you're treating it like some kind of scam.

I do not like this general direction in games. This is certainly not as bad as Horse Armor or Fable III's black dye pack, but it's an irritating trend that I choose not to support.

I've been wondering about this for a bit: what's the difference between DLC like the extra missions in ME2 and the expansion packs of PC gaming?

I mean, bundle them all together and you've got probably a full expansion pack worth of missions or at or a little under the same price you'd find expansion packs for if I remember right

I don't really buy expansion packs unless they come bundled with the game, for similar reasons, or unless they can stand on their own, like with Dawn of War. I like to play through a game once, do everything that can be done with that game, and then move on.

DLC may appeal to people who like to revisit games from time to time, but I almost never revisit things.

As far as I'm concerned, at best DLC makes for several-month-long download times.

:( I play neopets cause it is a cute and relatively easy way to play puzzle games and feel like I get some tangible thing out of it, like buying imaginary food for a pretend cute animal. I know, I know, I am a retard

I am sorta the same way. I play the shit out of a game and then leave it. But it's usually a year and a half+before all the DLC is out and goes on sale, so if i like the game it makes sense to play through it again. especially if there's an alignment system

There was a subsentence right after that moniker. The vocal progressives shout down people like Will and myself, on this board even. You can't hardly mention Obama did well without someone crying he didn't do anything ignoring all the good work he's done.
