I have that thing you sent me hanging on the wall over my bed and when I have to tell people what it is they generally respond with "The hubble what?" and I die a little inside.
Do any of you guys use non-Steam digital distribution services
I am a fan of Gamersgate myself
I bought a game over greenhouse once, went to install it on a new computer and my account had gone poof.
Also Steam did lose track of me owning Darwinia. Bought it on steam a couple of years ago, hadn't played it in forever, went to download it and it wasn't on my list anymore.

Betelgeuse and I went to see the Hubble IMAX show in 3D at the Air and Space Museum.

Even though it has an expiry time on your downloads, which is absolutely obscene, the EA download service is pretty seamless and transparent. Though I only use it when there's no Steam alternative.
Impulse is a pile of crapola but it does have this Impule lite mode which is basically just the games ready to launch without having to open the entire suite. Which is something Steam needs to have.

That sounds wonderful.
Well, she's a really nice person, so yeah, it was great
GalCiv! That's it, couldn't remember the name. I got pretty damn good at that game, even beat a game on the highest difficulty once. Although it was more fun on normal, since I didn't have to exploit every trick in the book in order to keep up with the other races, and instead could actually mess around with it.

I never got to play that online, I also suck at the single player I can never finish the interceptor missions.
Hated steam so much.
I liked it from the start.

crap!
It's not a joke. It's just a thing that happened.
Man I was a Freespace feind.
Give me a Perseus, Subach/Kayser and some Trebuchets and Harpoons and I'll tear it up.
I wanted to make everyone explain it again.
I didn't get the game til GoG got it and I don't really know how to setup my joystick for it.
But it's a blast when I can get it setup right.

I hear that is a good one.
Not so sure personally, I never used it.
I would get Hearts of Iron 3 there though, maybe if it weren't bugged so bad.
